Publisher's summary

"Many A True Word Hath Been Spoken In Jest" - William Shakespeare

Our satire begins with one sock in particular, Romeo. He's staying clean but living dirty. We open as he cries to himself in the mirror. He's caught between being honest and saving face.

Cute, funny and true!

What a great play/audiobook! Anyone who is in a 12-step program or has been to meetings before will recognize the character archetypes and get a laugh from "Sharing Like Shakespeare".

It's a quick read/listen and definitely pokes good-natured fun at the funny aspects of recovery, while also imparting Romeo's serious cautionary tale about the trap of being so "recovered" that he can't share where he's at.

I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I thought the ending was a little abrupt and I wanted more closure or something. Overall, totally a great little play! I would love to see it performed with actual sock puppets, maybe as the Friday night entertainment at a convention! (Hint to any convention committee members who might be reading this review)

Awful

This was just awful. Not funny at all. It's not worth a dollar. Put your money in the basket instead.
