An excellent UU Homily!
I listened to this homily in preparation for a homily I am preparing on Congregationalism and the 5th UU Principal.
I found a unique insight into vulnerability and courage people experience when being part of a congregation that governs itself, rather than being a top-down organization led by a bishop or elder system.
I will incorporate several of Mayo's points in my upcoming talk.
