Captivating Truths!

This book gives some great insight on self-love, forgiveness and how to be gentle with ourselves. While listening to this book I will admit that I was listening from a place of guilt, shame, hurt, and betrayal. But it helped me to take a look at myself and see what pain I was inflicting on myself. It cause me to dig deep and look at all of my relationships and how they were nothing but self reflection of either love or fear.

A must!

Robert’s Holden “Loveability” is one of the most amazing books on Love. Magnificent, impecable, full of wisdom and clarity; as a gift, it turns out extremely enjoyable while listening to the author. Can’t speak highly enough of Robert Holden and this book.

The world needs to read/listen to Loveability!

Excellent book! Helps you understand where love comes from, and how to get back in touch with love when you feel you may have lost it. It's changed my perceptions on many things in life. It's a must read!
Robert Holden does his own narration. It is outstanding, so easy to listen to, and so easy to relate to. I've seen him live, and he is just as amazing in person!

Written as if speaking to children

The style is similar to that of a children's book. In fact, many of the anecdotes are conversations with the author's young daughter. So, the content is not for the adult intellect.

Furthermore, the narrator's tone is as if he's speaking to a 4 year old.

Banal

I can summarize in 3 sentences what Holder takes a whole book to say: We are, by nature, love and loveable. We forget this and need to remind ourselves of its truth. If we remember this and we become love to ourselves and others, love will find us.

He adds a lot of fluff and some anecdotes, which puff up the content, but it isn't substantive or revolutionary. It's like taking a bite of an ice cream cone only to realize it's cotton candy. Don't bother if you're looking something real. This is just foam.

life transforming book

this book will transform your life. It did that to me and I am so grateful to Robert Holden that finally someone is explaining what is really love. How important it is to love yourself. I am 43 years old and only now I realise it was my ego and not my true self who has feared love for so long. Really a recommendation for all who suffers with low self image, for all cancer patients, for all depressed people.

Just lovely! x

Loveability is a book which had me hooked from the moment I started listening. This book has a candid and direct approach to love, and is narrated openly and truthfully by Holden who gives lots of useful advice on how to love myself and others from a place of authenticity. Holden's affirmations "I am loveable" and one I adapted from the book was "I forgive myself" are simple but incredibly affective in helping shift any mindset towards love and gratitude. Just lovely, thank you! x

Loved It

I had no idea what this was about, I just searched for 'love' in Audible. It's opened my eyes to so much more reading and thinking and a new way of living. I loved this so much I'm going to buy the paperback as well so I can underline all the best bits to mediate on.

Some nice lessons but too much spiritual stuff.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

I enjoyed some elements of the book but all the god and spirit stuff was superfluous.

What could Robert Holden have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Made this more practical and accessible to atheists as well as theists. The book assumes the listener to have a belief in some sort of higher power.

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

It was pleasant enough. Story is not an appropriate category for non-fiction and one which I would prefer Audible to make optional.

Was Loveability worth the listening time?

I am glad I listened to it but I spent a lot of time cringing and getting irritated by all the god stuff.
