Publisher's Summary

In Stella Adler's The Art of Acting, her seminal work on the performing arts, transcripts from Adler's acting classes were lovingly transformed into a readable volume. In the same vein, The Art of Living presents transcripts from legendary business speaker and mentor Bob Proctor's most popular workshop - Matrixx - and brings this wisdom to a wider audience in book form.

With this audiobook, the listener will become a student of Bob Proctor as he teaches lessons and presents jewels of wisdom on living an extraordinary life. Listeners will marvel at Proctor's miraculous way of disseminating his decades of business wisdom into easy-to-understand parables and learn lessons on what our creative faculties are and how to use them, why we need to unlearn most of the false beliefs we've been indoctrinated with our whole lives, and how our intellects have the ability not only to put us ahead in life but also to be our biggest detriment.

A must for someone who wants to expand their mind!

I listened to it entirely a total of 5 times. The first time on a trip I took across several states to visit friends. The second in bed while I relaxed during a holiday weekend. The 3rd time on drives to work and back home, but this time I started taking notes through Audible. The 4th time In spurts during breaks while waiting or while I was doing daily errands or working out. And finally the last time I transcribed my notes into a notebook. I will most likely listen to it several more times before the end of the year. IT WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE! JUST DO WHAT IT SAYS.

Jam packed with life advice

I enjoyed the no-nonsense advice. Doesn't try to hand-hold you, and the narrator helps vocalize it. I feel a slight confidence boost and motivated to start making my life the way I want it. I'll have another listen and see if I still feel that way.

Bob Proctor Has Changed My Life

After reading Your Born Rich, I knew I had to get another one of Bob's books. The Art of Living helps to shift your paradigm and change your life in a very positive way. Bob destroys your limiting beliefs and shows you a way to live the life you imagine. Very much recommended.

Narrater is dry, good book.

The one narrated by Bob Proctor is a bit more entertaining. The content is great. It flows well.

Thoughts are things

Confirms everything I've already thought. I'm already a very positive and proactive person. This book gives me motivation to hone that positivity into things and relationships I want. Everything is a choice.....everything.

A New Classic You Should Own

A book I will listen and read again and again. Powerful golden nuggets throughout the entire book to apply in my life. Only bad thing is narrator couldn't pronounce Carnegie's name and didn't have the enough emotion behind reading the content as Bob voiced in many of his audio books. Not to compare the two, but to express he is a little emotionless in many places throughout book. I am purchasing the book to go through this again. OWN AND USE THIS BOOK!

Waste of Time

Was a struggle to finish. Short and choppy sentences. Felt like an infomercial that talked a lot but actually said nothing. The author repeats exact things in different parts, but yet the chapters had no real arc. Used a lot of nonsensical ideas dealing with natural science that had no real application. Offered no real advice. If you think of a crappy life style type book, this fits that notion perfectly. Also very much disliked the narrator's voice acting in the audiobook.
