Fundamental of speed reading

This book taught me how to speed read. I now feel like Neo after taking a red pill. With exception of pacers, I enjoyed everything else in this book.
I've read it as a part of Personal MBA book club. It was the very first book on the list. In the retrospect, it was an excellent idea to read it before any other books on my PMBA list.

Great Introduction to Speed Reading

This book seems to have a pretty good system. I really liked the format and strategy of the author and I can see myself coming back to this book to gain more understanding down the road. It's a good book that gives you several different pacing methods, a test on your reading speed/comprehension each day, and tips on how to increase both. My personal favorite is pre-viewing. I recommend the book. Short and to the point.

Detailed descriptions and helpful exercises

A worthwhile read for one who would like to pick up reading speed. Great use for visual thinkers. What he describes of the mind's ability to absorb imagery and ideas is fascinating and it seems to work rather well. I love the exercises he gives with the public domain stories as well. I believe everyone should have a go at increasing their reading speed.

Well worth the investment!

It is worth saying that the author himself explains that you can read faster and comprehend better with his system, but part of reading faster means you can read it more than once to improve understanding. This is a very valuable book for all readers. I recommend everyone read this. It will alter the way you and your children read forever.
