Publisher's Summary

One of the greatest self-improvement books ever written and now available here in audio format. For anyone who wants an enriched life and an existence with meaning this is a must listen manuscript. Allen’s teachings make absolute sense: ‘A man is literally what he thinks, his character being the complete sum of all his thoughts’.

Beautifully done!

Concentrated wisdom. Food for hours of meditation.
Will listen again and again. Love the authors English accent!

Get ready to fall asleep

The narrator of this book will put you to sleep. He talks really slow and not in an exciting voice. It's only about an hour but I struggled getting through it because of the narration. The content I feel is good though.

As a man Thinketh

A little dull to listen to. There are many other audio books that have this title included with a bundle of audio books that are easier to listen to. It still has great material. I hardly ever give an average rating to any books I purchase but there are always exceptions.

Good content but hard to listen to...

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

I'm sure this book would be a good read. The content is good but I didn't enjoy the reader. It was difficult to listen to and stay focused.

Interesting listening

This short book is written like a meditation on how the mind affects action. As the language was unexpectedly prosaic, I found it a little difficult to follow though this could indicate the state of my mind at the time. I imagine this would be even better if read in the voice of Jaqen H'ghar.
