Introduction to SQL

Solid intro to SQL and database manipulation. This book doesn't get into the weeds of complex SQL, but gives the reader enough foundation to further their skills later on. The narrator does a wonderful job of delivering the material in a way that leaves the listener engaged, with subject matter that could easily be sleep inducing if delivered differently. Great effort from the author and narrator.

Happy I bought in

I got just what I needed out of this book. It was informative with a great teaching style, and got me comfortable with SQL quickly. The narrator reading the queries forced me to take my time when practicing. It was a bother at first, but turned out to be a blessing in disguise. I started writing the queries out ahead of the narration, and used the narrator like a teacher grading my work.

highly recommended

This book gives a quick start to learning SQL and is easy to follow. The only issues I found were some typo's near the end of the book: the last 2 chapters, and the exercises at the end.
