Publisher's Summary

In a highlight-reel, microwave world - we’re led to believe success is right around the corner. It’s not working.

Not only is it not working with our ability to achieve our goals, we’ve never been more frustrated, stuck, and unfulfilled.

But what if there was a way to shut out the noise, fall in love with the process, and take one step forward every single day - leading to an undeniable confidence as we paint our life’s masterpiece?

Enter The 1% Rule - a daily system designed to help you close the gap without the crushing pressure that leads most people less inspired and more stuck.

The 1% Rule was designed to answer three core questions:

  • Why do some people seem to achieve massive success in everything they do while others can’t even get out of their own way?
  • What separates those who get excited and inspired for a season, a quarter, a month, or a week - and those who are consistently on fire?
  • What are the core principles, mindsets, habits, and rituals of those who execute ruthlessly and those who sit on the sidelines pondering?

Through exploring these answers over the last decade, the core principles, strategies, and proven framework of The 1% Rule were born and are now yours today.

If you’re ready to ditch the highlight reel illusion...

If you’re tired of sitting on the sidelines waiting...

If you’re frustrated with the 24/7 noise...

You’ve come to the right place.

Gets to the point with no fluff

I've been looking for something like this that is practical and that works. Tommy cuts out the fluff and breaks down the steps you need to accomplish the important goals you set in life, without getting overwhelmed.

Audible and Paper

I love this book. I’ve read it and highlighted the crap out of my paper copy. And now I just finished the audible version as well. I highly recommend it.

Straight Vodka no chaser. I will be listening again and again. Most likely my second favorite book “The Bible Being 1st this year. Great Job... I can’t wait to see these methods work in my life.

Valuable content. Delivery could’ve been better.

This book is very, very powerful. And because of this, the book could’ve been shorter. It feels like the author tries to convince the reader about the 1% rule, as if he didn’t believe it was already powerful without too much explanation. I understand that this convincing game could be part of establishing credibility, but ultimately I felt like I was going through “fluff” in order to get to the good stuff. I also found technical issues with the audiobook that at first almost made me stop listening, but again, the content is A+, so I continued to give it a chance. Baker is the “no bs” coach that every entrepreneur needs to hear. I felt personally called out throughout this book and had numerous “aha” moments. You can’t make up this type of stuff. Baker knows what he’s talking about. I do believe that the narration could have been way, way better, since it feels almost like a fake enthusiasm instead of what could hace been a powerful and down-to-earth conversation. I can’t wait to see what else Tommy Baker writes, I will definitely read/listen to it regardless of delivery, editing errors or unnecessary length because I place a lot of value on the content that’s at the core of this book.

This is how you get from dream to reality

this book was a great blessing to me meaning of the Practical steps shown in this book gave me great insight into how to get across the finish line. one of the first self-help titles I have read that makes the work practical and for warned you that it will be hard and that you will have to dumb massive effort into your life, but he doesn't stop there he's in shows you the Practical areas of life where you need to focus that energy. raw enthusiasm and emotion will never be able to bring your dreams into reality all by itself. it must be focused and very practical, a day by day, one small step at a time, measured approach.

Thank you Tommy for writing this book!

Dissapointment

The author mentions resources throughout the book but those resources are not available on the audio book. I went online to see if I could find any of the resources but the author does not have any on the web either. Over all the book is very generic and there is really nothing in the book to differentiate this book from the millions of other self help books out there.
Don't invest in this book unless you are wanting to be disappointed.

Good content, horrible narrator

This is decent and worth buying. Lots of value and strategies but he definitely shouldn't be narrating himself. Far too enthusiastic and sounds like he's constantly introducing a superhero movie which made it very difficult to listen to.

Great book - a little too much padding

This book contains some lovely ideas, stories and metaphors. However I feel that it would have benefited from being about an hour shorter without the filler and repetitive analogies. But all in all I look forward to hearing more from Tommy. Your podcast has a new subscriber!

Very valuable but too many iterations..

I had the feeling that the author tried to get through to reader as many way possible. With the best of intentions. Hence it made me feel like that the concept was repetitive but still liked the message.
