    "Dragon in Charge"

Rand Al-Thor strikes out on his own to reclaim his birthright. Perrin remains with Moraine and meets a new companion. Nynaeve, Elayne and Egwene get an assignment. Mat runs from the Aes Sedai and meets up with an old companion. Can all of these people, traveling on different missions and with different priorities really end up in the right place at the right time to save each other?

This is the best book I've read so far and I immediately picked up book four to continue the story! This series is slow to start and I was frustrated with all the demands of the Aes Sedai and the cruelty even some of the 'good' characters showed themselves capable of. I have settled into the story now and am anxious to make progress through this world. I am really attached to the Emond's fielders and am hopeful they will prevail. Egwene is perhaps my least favorite as she is not very nice much of the time. I am convinced she will have a moment where she finally grows up.

The narration is great. I have gotten used to the pair and really enjoy both voices and the characters' voices through them. It is almost seamless when they switch off now.

    "Wonderful series"

One of my favorite fantasy series so far. I love the little details that serve to really open this world for me. I know some people get annoyed at the lottle details, but since this is not likely to be made into aovoe or tv series, it really helps my minds eye envision this complicated world.

easy to listen to. also, the voice actor and actress do well with emoting and voices. sadly, the "interview" at the end is the exact same as the previous ones. wish there were different ones.

    "The books keep getting better"

Expanding this world and the story is the point of book three. The action is great and we get to spend more time away from Rand. Best one so far.

    "A fine fantasy romp"

A fine 3rd installment to the Wheel of Time series. I liked the extra focus on characters not Rand, it seemed well place and needed. Kate Reading did an exceptional job narrating as she always does.

    "Great story and well written."

I love this genre. And wheel of time is among best. Due to the way of the story (threads of the wheel of time) this book does not directly follow the dragon much. It seems to mostly follow his friends.

    "Short but Sweet"

This is the shortest of the volumes so far, but has a very fast pace, unlike some of the later books. It is a journey, and building upon existing characters, while beginning to introduce a few more side characters, including Aes Sedai, and some new major characters too. Culminating in one of the best battles in the series (until Book 11 - Knife of Dreams, chapter 18), as the Dragon tries to seize the Stone of Tear, and we are introduced to the People of the Dragon - the awesome Aiel from the baked, arid wastes beyond the Dragon Wall. The battle of wills and of the one power shakes the STone to it's core as the Dragon attempts to put Forsaken in their places - well until the mistress of the night intervenes... well, you have to listen to find out now, don't you! Best series ever!!

    "fantastic"

I have read pretty much every major fantasy novel and so reckon I can give a fair judgement. So far, I am enjoying the Wheel of Time saga more than any other fantasy I have ever read.

Don't waste your time with sword of truth saga - its just a copy of wheel of time apart from not as good.

I would recommend this saga to anyone who likes Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, golden compass, sword of truth etc. Once you get to know the characters in this saga they are more lovable than all of the above mentioned.

    "The plot thickens..."

The epic storytelling abilities shown in The Wheel of Time really come apparent in the third novel. The focus leaves the protagonist for much of the book which allows the audience to have a more in depth view of others in the steadily growing band of characters, namely the development of Perrin. Narrators excel as always.

"Excellent, a compelling and addictive epic."

This is one of the best fantasy epics ever written, a series right up there with the work of J. R. R. Tolkien but be warned it is not one to be taken up lightly, this series is Huge!

The books have been kept together so one audio book will get you one book and many hours of happy listening.

Sadly Robert Jordan died in 2007 after publishing book 11, but with the help of Jordan’s wife/editor Harriet McDougal, Brandon Sanderson has taken up the torch, using Jordan’s plentiful notes he is finishing off the series brilliantly, with book 14 being the final volume.

The series is voiced by Michael Kramer and Kate Reading throughout and their performances are exemplary, their narration brings the world to life in a way that simply reading it never had for me, they bring a unique voice and feeling to each of the characters that brings them to life and firmly embeds them in your heart.

The only negative I have to put in is that the audiobooks chapter division bears no relation to where the chapters start and end in the books making the chapter search and snooze modes on the app all but useless.

All in all a five star read. An absolute must for any fantasy epic fan.

This story just keeps getting better. I'm glad i am listening to this after the whole series has already been written; it must have been a painful experience waiting for the next book in turn.

    "awsome"

This is the series that all other fantasy series should be benchmarked against.
masterfully written with a story that entwines and twists around itself basically weaving 4 stories into 1 epic. an absolute must for any fantasy fans out there. And it is performed beautifully to boot.
