Grew tired of waiting for more chapters

Where does The B-Team rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

The series started off well enough, but I grew tired of waiting for more episodes to come out. The piecemeal release of each episode is how tv networks operate, I don't want the same thing in my books.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The B-Team?

The first book in the series.

What does William Dufris bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Great narration.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

My extreme reaction caused me to preorder the whole series.

Any additional comments?

After the ninth episode, I canceled the rest. I decided not to put up with having to wait. If a full book is published, I'll be one of the first to order it.

Great Short Story (and for 51 cents!)

Short but very entertaining sci-fi. Not a complicated performance, but it was well done.

This is my second Scalzi book (the first was a much longer Fuzzy Nation). He writes with constant "he said" "she said" at the end of sentences which gets annoying, but his stories are good enough that you still enjoy them.

I plan to listen to all the books in his Human Division series.

Nice. Good story, characters and presentation

Up to form. Shows all SF does not have to be galactic to be interesting. Repeat characters in a different situation. Stays true to their qualities. Not sentimental. They stay in their own lanes. The narrator is spot on. Worth a listen.

A Long Book Chapter, With the Book Missing

What did you like best about The B-Team? What did you like least?

If I really wanted to just listen to Episode 1 of something, I'd watch TV. This was my first and last exploration of this approach.

Interesting concept

Liked the narrator and how he pulled the characters to life. The story line is good, nice to see the humans as the underdog. I'll read a few more in the series before final vote is cast.

Consequences.

You read previous books and you know how it ended.
Trading was established and Earth's Iron Curtain was finally dropped.
and everybody lived happily ever after? NO, YOU ARE WRONG !

It's time for some reality Injection.

Its 69 cents.

Worth every penny.....all 69 of them. I'm sure if you add up all the books it would cost way more than a credit, at half the listening time.

Dick and Jane Publishing

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

That would depend on how good of a friend they are. If they are a good friend I would recommend they buy this book to evaluate this author before spending more money on his other books. If they are a not so good friend I would recommend they buy one of this authors other more expensive books. If they are a really good friend I would tell them not to wast their time and money but if they insisted I would let them listen to my download of this audio book so they could evaluate it before spending any money on it or any of this authors other books.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

I thought the Narrator did ok considering what he had to work with.

Any additional comments?

“Look, Jane, look! I have a manuscript for a new book,” Dick said. “Oh, I like new books,” Jane said. “It is for a science fiction book written by John Scalzi,” Dick said. ”Oh, I like his books,” Jane said. “Me too,” Dick said. “Let’s publish it right away,” Jane said. “That is what I said when Sally said that Jack said that John said that he hoped we would publish his book,” Dick said. “John said that?” Jane said. “That is what Sally said Jack said John said,” Dick said. “I am glad you said what you said when Sally said Jack said John said that,” Jane said. “You said it!” Dick said. “Ruff! Ruff!” Spot said.
