light and enjoyable

A good title for younger listeners. Original and light that makes for easy listening.

Feels like a movie!

The plot, pacing, and narrator are fantastic! It felt like I was listening to a movie! The characters are very real and the character development is great! What a great story!

Good traditional SciFi!

I enjoy some of the traditional storylines y authors like Pournelle. There are some things in the book that were fiction but are not reality

Great characters and good story line

I loved the book. I just wish it had been set up to be a series because there are still unanswered questions.

Great Story, Good Characters and interesting

It may seem like a childrens story but it is not, although the main character is Kipp. It is quite and intriguiging story line with suspense and trechery set in a not too alian landscape and some interesting characters. If there was one flaw, it is the abrupt ending of the story.; like running into a brick wall, like one of these 50's style never ending serials where it finishes without really completing the tail. And there is no 2nd book. Else i would have rated it 4 stars!

refreshingly new story line!

this story was fun to hear! refreshing new story line that was very interesting

great story but

oh big but! love the story but the narrator says T.R.I.5 for the tri-v. ugh. bothers the snot out of me. almost need to quit listening but I love the story too much.

Intelligent Plot Nicely Narrated

The first part comprises quite some background information and dialogues until finally the story and action develops and accelerates. Action lovers may need some patience, which should be well worth the effort.

book 2!?

I would pay for a second book. I really like how it was a clean , fun , and intense story but was light and easy to get through.
