Author's note: We've all consumed sci-fi or speculative fiction where the dystopian backdrop is some form of fascism—usually portrayed as conservatism run amok. This is not that kind of book. The backdrop of this book is a socialist and corporate statist disaster on a global scale. It is basically fascism arising from the left. I had to give the protagonists a reason to do what they do.... As such there are numerous disturbing scenes within, portraying everything from socialized medicine, five-year economic plans and government-enforced serfdom. If you think any of that sounds like a panacea for the future, you will not like this book.

Plausible political scenario

I think that the political situation in this book is a plausible scenario as I see with my own eyes the corruption, and lack of justice with governments around the world talking about “Build back better”, which is a globalist mantra of like minded, power hungry, elitists. The science behind the story is plausible, but it will be far in the future. Well acted by Marc Vitor. The character development is decent, following several different characters. I recommend this book to military sci fi geeks like me.

Excellent read

This is a great book! It catches your interest right away and holds it throughout the entire book. Good character development your development good storyline really get you involved in the characters..

Worth a credit

I was unsure at first, but I found myself wrapped up in the story and appreciating the narration. I would say it’s worth a credit.

A great performance of a great story

I like the characters and I am glad there is more to hear about in book 2.
