I really like Mr. Forstchen's writing. He is without a doubt a grand champion writer when it comes to gripping action and heart wrenching emotion.
But this one started out so badly, with so much detail to the character's religious ceremony and social structure, that I simply could not keep my attention on it. At the 55 minute mark, I gave up.
