Ele'ana and her squad of cybernetic soldiers are escorting a long haul space freighter to the outer rim planets. She can't tell the captain what they're carrying, or why saboteurs are trying to stop them. The assignment is challenging enough without a saboteur aboard ship.
The medic is half-blind. Her explosives expert is a sociopath. The interrogator suffers from dementia. Her own sanity is stretched to its limit as her desire for the cantankerous captain wrestles with the reality of her body's modifications.
Would you listen to Hands of Onyx again? Why?
I 'am' currently listening to it again. It is entertaining & makes my work commute less stressful.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Hands of Onyx?
I very much enjoyed how the author wrapped things up at the end.
What does Theo Holland bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Theo Holland brings the various characters to life using numerous voices, male & female.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
As I stated earlier, I found the resolution to be very satisfying.
