The Galahad, a faster-than-light spacecraft, carries 50 scientists and engineers on a mission to prepare Kepler 452b, Earth's nearest habitable neighbor at 1400 light years away. With Earth no longer habitable and the Mars colony slowly failing, they are humanity's best hope. After 10 years in a failed cryogenic bed - body asleep, mind awake - William Chanokh's torture comes to an end as the fog clears, the hatch opens, and his friend and fellow hacker, Tom, greets him...by stabbing a screwdriver into his heart. This is the first time William dies.
Have you ever seen a planet invaded by rampaging space mutants from another dimension or Nazi dinosaurs from the future? Don't let this happen to you! Rifts happen, so you should be ready when universes collide. A policy with Stranger & Stranger can cover all of your interdimensional insurance needs. Rated "Number One in Customer Satisfaction" for three years running, no claim is too big or too weird for Tom Stranger to handle.
Mother and warrior. Scholar and spy. Rebel and hero. Set in a magical world of terror and wonder, this audiobook is a deeply felt epic of courage and war, in which the fates of these three characters intertwine - and where ordinary people become heroes, and their lives become legend.
Nothing ever changes in Sanders. The town's still got a video store, for God's sake. So why doesn't Eli Teague want to leave? Not that he'd ever admit it, but maybe he's been waiting - waiting for the traveler to come back. The one who's roared into his life twice before, pausing just long enough to drop tantalizing clues before disappearing in a cloud of gunfire and a squeal of tires. The one who's a walking anachronism, with her tricorne hat, flintlock rifle, and steampunked Model A Ford.
Cal Carver is having a bad day. Imprisoned and forced to share a cell with a cannibalistic serial killer, Cal thinks things can't possibly get any worse. He is wrong. It's not until two-thirds of the human race is wiped out and Cal is abducted by aliens that his day really starts to go downhill. Whisked across the galaxy, Cal is thrown into a team of some of the sector's most notorious villains and scumbags.
I found the journal at work. Well, I don't know if you'd call it work, but that's where I found it. It's the lost journal of Nikola Tesla, one of the greatest inventors and visionaries ever. Before he died in 1943, he kept a notebook filled with spectacular claims and outrageous plans.

In a novella of galactic magnitude, the space-traveling monk Everett Akasha begins his quest to rescue his brother while being pursued by the galaxy's most dangerous bounty hunters, corporate enforcers, alien mob goons, and supernaturally talented assassins. In the company of an artificial intelligence with emotional issues and a cat with horrendous gas, will he survive the unforgiving depths of space?
Great story; lighthearted and full of sci-fi fun. The narration was on point, and we really enjoyed the characterization and emotion! Keep 'em coming!

Not sure what I expected, but ended up having a lot of fun with this story. Original, creative, farty. What's not to like. Great narration as well. The last couple audiobooks had poor narrators. This was not one of those books. Recommend.

I currently have a couple ( ok, a few ) multi book series that I read passionately. Justin Dockins just added another series that I will now have to follow. The development of the storyline was fast and furious and kept me interested right up to the end. For whatever reason, I guess maybe because I started the series out this way, I feel that it is best that I continue this series with the Audible version. Phillip Church's narration is as much a part of this book as Justin's writing. Nicely done and a must get for anyone who likes this genre.

Would you consider the audio edition of Everett Akasha and the Flatulent Feline to be better than the print version?
This is a very original very fun story that is ripe with a fleshed out universe with it's own customs, tech, and power players. The flavor and tone of this story are very original, very fresh and fun. I hope many get to enjoy this voyage, and that we see a series of novels set in this reality.. I can see plenty of opportunity to expand the many glimpses into the corners of this universe created by the author. All in all, this is a very funny, clever, ironic, and adventurous book that you will love!

At first the title kept me from considering reading this but glad I overcame the prejudice. This is entertaining in the same way classic space opera is. Imaginative, and intriguing world-building, without descending in stultifying dialogue. You can see the formula and enjoy the ride at the same time. Comfortable, like a blanket cover with cat hair.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
I enjoyed this book. It was enjoyable and the plot was pretty good. It was quick and it was well paced. I think my biggest issue with the book was actually the title, especially as the titular feline wasn’t even a major part of the book.
