Publisher's Summary

The Grey Wardens are heroes across Thedas once again: The Archdemon has been defeated with relative ease, and the scattered darkspawn are being driven back underground. The Blight is over. Or so it seems.

Valya, a young elven mage recently recruited into the Wardens, has been tasked with studying the historical record of previous Blights in order to gain insight into newly reported and disturbing darkspawn phenomena. Her research into the Fourth Blight leads her to an encoded reference scrawled in the margins of an ancient map and to the hidden diary of Issenya, one of the last of the fabled griffon riders. As the dark secrets buried in Isseyna's story unfold, Valya begins to question everything she thought she knew about the heroic Grey Wardens.

Great tale of the Griffins

If you could sum up Dragon Age: Last Flight in three words, what would they be?

Mystifying, Intriguing, exhilarating

What other book might you compare Dragon Age: Last Flight to and why?

Not sure, but it would comparable to a book which cycles between present and past focusing heavily on the past.

Have you listened to any of Gildart Jackson’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes, he's done other Dragon Age series books. I think he portrayed the characters well. they were distinct from one another but just wasn't how I imagined them in my head. Which is all well and good, i just improvised

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Dragon Age: Last Flight - In a desperate attempt to fight evil, spells disaster for the grey wardens.

Any additional comments?

Really enjoyed this book. Though it wasn't a continuation of anything, it was still great in it's own right and very enjoyable to listen to.

Wonderful continuation of the storyline

This was a wonderful continuation of the storyline. Hearing the story of the Fourth Blight and leading of what occurred after the Fifth was enjoyable. The performance/narrator did an excellent job.

Prepare to laugh and cry.

A heart wrenching but great story. Always wondered what the Grey Wardens were like with their Griffins and 'Last Flight' gave me the chance to see them in action.

Griffons!!!

Wonderful story, heartbreaking to learn how the griffons vanished from Thedas. Emotion from the narration was strong enough to push me to tears a couple times. Jackson did a truly great job.
