Essential read

This is a compelling and interesting addition to the Mass Effect story that I wish I could've gotten to hear before playing the games. Definitely a must listen for any fan!

Wow! What a world!

I'm not a gamer and wasn't aware of the videogames surrounding this book. If I'd known about the videogame link, I may have missed my chance to read this incredible series.
Book one is just..... wow. As soon as I finished it, I immediately began searching for anything else in this series.
The characters, the story, the excitement... everything is so well done. I truly hope that this is made into a sci-fi TV series. There are enough stories within stories that the possibilities are endless.
Excellent narration by David Colacci! Five stars all the way.

Enjoyable story, great addition to the Mass Effect universe

Lots of cool character moments for players in ME 1 that didn't get enough development in the original game.

Great for sci-fi fans

The story kept you wanting to know what happened next. I felt like I was in the universe of mass effect itself. Characters are interesting and fleshed out and the ending gave me Goosebumps. I only wished i was more invested in the characters but I would definitely recommend it.

Absolutely fantastic book with great story line, unique universe, one of four he did and my favorite one
