A Whovian Christmas treat!

Generally with anthologies, there are a few clunkers in among the gold, but here every story is enjoyable. Christmas and the Doctor just seem to go together.

A delightful set of Stories

This is a fun little set of lighthearted tales each featuring one of the doctors and either including or tying into one of their companion's lives.

Loved it

I really loved this book. I am already familiar with the 9th - 12th doctors so listening to stories with the previous doctors was quite enjoyable

A great book!

The story's in this book are great because they're so varied some funny some scary and some exciting. The 1st doctors story is a bit alarming at the end but still very interesting. The second doctors story is a bit odd because it used a ninth doctor alien in a second doctor story. The 3rd doctor is absolutely hilarious but a bit of a sudden end. The fourth makes no sense at all so I am just gonna skip it. The fifth one has so much action it is so good!!! The sixth one is a bit boring but still interesting

interesting, but simplistic

Well told stories, but a little too childish in nature. A 5 year might feel a little insulted.

Very disappointing

What disappointed you about Doctor Who: Twelve Doctors of Christmas?

The stories were lack lustre and the performance seemed perfunctory.

Has Doctor Who: Twelve Doctors of Christmas put you off other books in this genre?

I afraid it has put me off othe Dr Who books for sure

Who might you have cast as narrator instead of the narrators?

Anyone else to be honest

It was ok

I enjoyed some of these stories, however I do feel that they were quite twee in places. I thought the ones where the Doctor took a newcomer to the T.A.R.D.I.S along were better than the ones that had original companions. The voices for some of the Doctors were just plain awful and others captured the essence of what that particular Doctor sounded like. Overall not bad, but not really great either.

Reasonable, but nothing to set the time vortex alight

A range of narrators means you're going to like some more than others. I found a few irritating in so much as the volume of their voice varied considerably. I'd probably blame the sound mixer, but either way it meant constantly wanting to play with the volume.
The stories are quite nice, with a few really fairly good ones. But I can't say I really remember many beyond the one I've just finished. I'll probably listen to it again next Christmas.
Not worth the full price IMHO.

Patchy

Some stories better than others, some narrators better than others. Scottish accents used by some are woeful, in general worth a listen.

Some good stories

This is a weird one as a lot of the individual doctor’s stories are enjoyable, however the woman doing the reading particularly the later Doctors, has obviously never seen or heard any of the Doctors which begs the question on why she attempted to do the voices instead of reading it straight.

WARNING: THIS BOOK CAN RUIN YOUR CHRISTMAS

Any additional comments?

The book is ok, not great, not terrible, but just a head up that it mentions "knowing that Santa isn't real, and was just mum and dad play-acting..." within the first four minutes.
