Publisher's Summary

For fans of Fifty Shades of Grey, Bared to You, and Release Me comes an all-new erotic series of three enigmatic and powerful men, and the striking women who can bring them to their knees.

He is everything I crave, all I desperately want - and he is everything I can't have. Evan Black embodies my every fantasy. He is brilliant, fierce, and devastatingly handsome. But he is also headstrong, dangerous, and burdened with secrets. My family warned me to stay away, that I could never handle Evan's dark dealings or scarred past. Maybe I should have listened. Maybe I should have run. But our desire is undeniable, and some temptations you just can't fight. And from the moment we touch - the passion between us consuming us both - I know that I will never be the same.

Just Okay

What did you love best about Wanted?

I have enjoyed J Kenners previous books far better than this. Little to no character development and relationship between Lena and Evan was weak.
Would you be willing to try another book from J. Kenner? Why or why not?

Yes, because of the previous books I've read.

What didn’t you like about Saffron Martindale’s performance?

Lisp, Lisp, Lisp!!!!!!! When you have a steamy male character and he lisps, well it just doesn't do it for me,

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

No

Very Disapointed

I am a fan of J Kenner but I had to listen to the first chapters a couple times to understand what was going on and after an hour into the book I finally give up. I cannot connect to this book at all. I feel like the book is all over the place.

"Wanted" more! Expected more

What did you like about this audiobook?

I didn't care for this book very much. When I saw J Kenner's name I jumped at the new entry especially sinceEvan Black, who was mentioned only briefly in " Take Me" the wrap up to the Stark series peaked my enterest. But this book lacks the fire of the Stark series. I'm at chapter 15 and still no fire. I'm not giving up on J Kenner, I'll wait for the next book.

How has the book increased your interest in the subject matter?

I'm still trying to find the subject matter

Does the author present information in a way that is interesting and insightful, and if so, how does he achieve this?

No, not like the last books I read from this author. I had such high hopes that were dashed quickly

What did you find wrong about the narrator's performance?

The narator was great just not a very good story. I will watch for this narrator to perform other works

Do you have any additional comments?

As I said earlier I love this writer this was just what I expected I will continue to watch for other project from J Kenner

Hot, steamy and sexy!!!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes

Who was your favorite character and why?

Lina and Evan

Any additional comments?

What's a great start of a new series. I enjoyed this book. I love a strong female lead and an awesome male lead to drool over. This book introduced us to The Knights - 3 powerful and enigmatic men, Evan, Tyler and Cole. This is about Evan and Lina. Two tortured souls that found each other. Lina loved Evan from the moment she saw him. Evan felt the same but he promised her uncle,John that he would not pursuit Lina. These two finally got together after John died. I love their story and how their love prevail.

This book has twists, sweet, unpredictable and fun to read. Most of all, it's hot, streamy and sexy. I can't wait read about Tyler and Cole.

omg performance was one of the worst ever!!!!!

Would you consider the audio edition of Wanted to be better than the print version?

Saffron (narrator) has a lisp. Therefore, every flippin character has a lisp. On top of the lisp, Saffron pauses every couple of words with in a sentence. This I am sure is for "dramatic effect", but honest to God, I want to reach through my phone and swat her on the back to make her spit out the ENTIRE sentence. If it was not for these pauses, this book probably would have been about 2 hours shorter!!!!!!! Top all of this off with her "sultry, wispy, airy" voice, and I had to turn this book off multiple times. I think this is the longest it has EVER taken me to finish an audible book. I wish there was a button when searching for a book, that you can choose or block a narrator because i will NEVER AGAIN listen to SAFFRONS LISP LISP LISP....pause for dramatic effect...LISP LISP LISP....PAUSE....LLLLLIIIIIIISSSSSSPPPPPPPPPP.....................PPPPPPPPAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUSSSSSSSSSEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!

All Kinds of Wrong

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

It had potential to be good, the story line was differ and intresting but it didn't live up to the build up.

Any additional comments?

I really wanted to like this but the narrator or the book it's self just didnt do it for me. I wouldn't waste my credit on this one if I was you.

AN EMOTIONAL LUST FILLED COCKTAIL CALLED WANTED

Well this time J Kinner has given us The Knights... Evan, Tyler and Cole who are all drool-worthy, rich, successful and charismatic guys each with their own story to be told. In this one Evan has always been attracted to their Mentor's Niece Angie but promised him he would never touch her but now that she's all grown up and his Mentor is dead, he is finding it harder to resist the beautiful, strong and sexy woman that she has become. From the age of 16 Angie has always had an all consuming crush on Evan and, after years of longing and now aged 23, she is now determined to corrupt him however once she starts to tease him she finds out that he's intense, possessive, controlling, romantic and an all Alpha male.... and Angie finds out that she likes it that way.

Horrific pasts, sexual tension, secrets, action-packed, twists, mystery, surprises and some hot sex makes this forbidden love story the start of (hopefully) a great trilogy.

BUT the narration is awful, now I'm all for equal opportunities and all that, but to have a narrator with a sometimes lisp talking about bedroom scenes like.... I want to thpank you, you've got thexy hipths and thoft curves, I want to kith your lipths, thpread for me I want to be inthide you, thon of a bitch, yeth yeth yeth..... well you get the drift, it spoils the thexual intenthity. Also she breaks the sentence-------down and you-------don't get the flow-----of the scene-----without lots of unnecessary------dramatic pauses.

Worth a credit? But despite the narration, this intense sweet love affair is still well worth the credit and here's hoping book 2 will have a different narrator.

Well done Saffron Martindale

Looking forward to hearing more from this narrator. Convincing narrative and portrayal of characters. Compelling male/female voices.

hoping for more...

What did you like best about Wanted? What did you like least?

If this had been the first J Kenner book I read I am sure I would have liked it better, however, given I had already read the Damian Stark series I felt like Wanted was basically a re-write of Damien and Nikki's story with slight variations. It seemed like Julie Kenner was following a formula that was condensed given this book was to be a stand alone story instead of a series..although they will be in the subsequent bookes, but the love story will focus on the other men not Evan. There was was little to no character development.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

disappointing and predictable.

Any additional comments?

Julie Kenner needs to slow down and worry about remaining creative and true to her characters not pumping out books to make money.
