WOW! I'm so glad I found this one!

I decided to get this during a sale, but it was the hypnotizing voice of Jim Frangione that was the real pull. When I first heard his reading of the JR. Wards "The Black Dagger Brotherhood" I was a little disappointed. However, the more you listen to him the more addicted you become. Now I can't imagine not loving anything he read, even the newspaper! This novel is amazing on it's own, Lori does not disappoint. These men are true men, the kind that will do anything to save a lady or kill the bad guy. They are full of attitude yet kind and gentle all at the same time. My husband listened to a little and just laughed, he said,"guys don't really talk like that." I just smiled back and said,"well, maybe if they did they could get the rewards like these men do!" He listened for more tips after that. :)

What a thrill to have Jim Frangione narrating!

He makes a good story absolutely great. His narrating is sexy and masculine and just perfect for these types of stories. What a surprise to find him reading this new series... instead of one of the boring women that have read Lori Fosters other books. Please keep them coming..... I cant get enough of his wonderful style. Discovered him from the Black Dagger Brotherhood series.

Heroine was awful!

What disappointed you about Trace of Fever?

I loved the hero but the heroine was so bad! I think the author wanted her to be tough but she just turned out hateful and bi-polar. One minute she's mad and hateful and then the next she's jumping the guy! I rolled my eyes way too many times.

Love this series!!

I read the first book, When you Dare. It was the first I had heard of Lori Foster, now I listen to everything she writes, but especially like the "Men who walk the edge of honor" series.

Totally Consuming Heat and need

Any additional comments?

Wow soooo good. Trace is all Hot intense male. Jim Frangione narration surrounds and consumes you. Lori Foster has once again grabbed my attention, hauled me into the story and didn't let me go till the very end. I feel totally satisfied in every way. Not one to let a good thing go i have purchased the next book in the series and i'm sure it will be as captivating as the last 2. What an excellent ride. :)

Surprisingly dated main characters

I first thought this book must have been written 20-30 years ago when women wanted to read about big hulking male heroes who tell them what to do, showing there immense protective/arrogant/dominant side.

The story was just over the top absurd with stereotyped bad guys galore. The heroine was such an odd contradiction that she was not believable. I appreciate the fact that the author took on a rough topic but finding it hard swallow at the same time.

Trace of Fever

Normally I whip right through books and am hankering for more. Not so with this book. I liked the first of the series not sure why this one didn't receive the same results. The narrator was great but the story left something to be desired.

Hot, very hot

Oh my, this was so hot. Lori Foster was right on point with this book. This the second book in the series and it gets better and better. I had this in my library for over a year, if I had known this would be this great, well... Make sure not to listen if you're going to sleep, you will be up all night. Well worth the credit.

Lori Foster is great!! Can't wait to Savor the danger!! I love a series and Lori has gotten me to fall in love with the characters. If u like Maya Banks in KGI or Suzanne Brockman in trouble shooters, you will love this series!
