I need Cats abilities in my life

If you don't already know, Cat and her abilities are freaking awesome!

If you have been reading in order you should already know what her abilities are and/or could be. Oh top of that, she currently has the some of the strongest vampires and ghoul at her side. I don't know how she doens't explode with all these powers, but let me just say that Cat is badass!

Nevertheless, reading some reviews, I can understand how some people are confused or find some of it unbelievable. At the same time, you have to remember this is a fictional supernatural novel. It is well thought out to the best a fictional world can be. I have thoroughly enjoyed all of Jeaniene Frost novels in this series so far.

Best Author and Reader

Reader is in a whole different class. Writer takes an unusual story and brings it to life so smoothly that you are hooked by the 5th sentence.

LOVED IT! Vlad & Kat had my Favorite Comic Exchange in this one

(Cat)...I whirled around to gape at what was left of the ghoul. His body pitched forward on the driveway, nothing but a smouldering mess left where his head had been.
Much slower, I turned around to see Vlad examining his fingernails as if his hands weren't still ablaze in the flames that had blasted the ghouls head off moments before.
"What the hell was that?!" I gasped.
"Premature inflamulation." He replied. "Happens sometimes. Very embarrasing, I don't like to talk about it."

Oh, did I forget to mention Chapter 21? Just as erotic as the infamous Chapter 32 in One Foot in the Grave. The roles are reversed tho, with Cat as the Dominant. Very nice.

Would you consider the audio edition of This Side of the Grave to be better than the print version?

Yes I could never do the charters justice as Tavia Gilbert does.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Cat and Bones are my favorite. There are no words they are just great. Since this isn't a great explanation you have to listen to the series and then you will understand...

Which scene was your favorite?

When Cat first wakes up after the Ghoul Queen makes Cat drink her blood and bones tells her everything that has happened in the two days that she was out of her mind with Marie's powers and lust

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Yes I did both in fact I laughed and cried so much that since I was listening to this book at work my co-workers kept looking at me crazy from smiling and laughing so much. I even had someone ask me if I was ok.

A fan forever of both Author and Narrator

I am totally addicted to Cat and Bones. I also find myself looking forward to hearing from the supporting characters like Vlad who cracks me up or Spades cool control and her P.I.T.A. mother. Jeaniene Frost draws you in within the first sentence but Tavia Gilbert presents the story to you with a punch. Jeaniene builds great drama, creates amazing characters and presents a great story. If you are new to this series it is a must to start from the beginning but you will NOT be disapointed. Many characters are brought back from previous books so you will get lost. Credits or money well spent.

MUST READ

I must say I am a Jeaniene Frost Fan for life... I love everything she has written... and will continue to buy and read what ever she produces. I am definitely addicted to Cat and Bones and their friends.

Ultimate Couples Crush!

In 3 weeks I have listened to or read all Jeaniene Frost's book except for 2. (That includes all the short stories on kindle) This author has moved right up to second place on my list! Sorry for anybody that thinks she should be first, no one can replace Anne Rice in my heart. BUT I'm not going to say never!
I have over 50 audio books and I love Ms. Gilbert! She is very expressive! I am not familiar with british accents and slang so I am not offended by the way Bones is written or portrayed.
Honestly Sookie and her men have nothing on this group! Try it!
