Publisher's Summary

Carly Gallagher doesn't make mistakes. Until one day she makes one that causes the death of someone she cares about. She would turn to the man she loves more than anything - if he were free to love her in return.

Phillip Morrison's life turned upside down the moment he met Carly. Everything he thought was right turned out to be the exact opposite. He has to make a lot of choices, but one thing is clear: he loves Carly and he has to find a way to claim her.

Chaos runs wild through their lives, and just when it looks like they have a chance to be together - fate has other plans. Traitors, friends, and enemies - it becomes hard to decipher which is which, and trust becomes a luxury they can no longer afford. They have to fight not only for the love they both share, but for their very lives.

Very entertaining and enjoyable

Short sweet and to the point no fillers, a good listen that holds your interest. Fast pace action and excitement. The only problem I have is not enough information was given about (how do I say this without giving the story away…hummm) who wanted something and was willing to kill to get it. How did she learn about this, is she in some group, was that the reason she married who she married? So many questions with no answers leaving a big gap. It was a great listen that I really did enjoy.

Ms. O’Toole narration was great, her character voices were good, her tones and emotions were great. You know who is talking and what they are feeling. Character voices were very pleasant, males sound manly. I thought her performance was great. No background noises, no volume changes, if any breaks were taken I could not tell. Her voice blends very well with the different characters and emotions. I could really hear the pain, uneasiness and sorrow as well as pleasure and hope in the character voices. I really enjoyed her natural voice it is very pleasant to listen to. She gives a highly entertaining listen.

The author puts a few twists and some surprises in the plot that keeps the story interesting. You pretty much know what is coming but it is still surprising. As I stated above a little more information is needed to fill in the blankets but beside that it was a very good story that I feel most will enjoy.

Good Writing Kept My Interest

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Very short so it jumps right in. FBI partners in love but with one being married, their feelings can’t be expressed. Tragedy hits and Carly and she finds sympathy in Phillip. He is in a bad marriage and soon finds out why. He and Carly now have a life and death problem to face.

Interesting premise that starts out with little to no hope for romance and makes such a sudden twist that begs for a longer book with more background. Nonetheless, it’s fun and keeps the pace up to the end.

Rose O’Toole does a fine job!

Decent quick & fast paced novella

There You'll Be: Begin Again by Dawn Brower is a pretty solid novella coming in at an hour and forty minutes. Is it a very deep story? No. It's difficult to go deep with such a quick listen. That being said, it was enjoyable for a quick listen. There aren't any fillers, but it's a solid listen. At the center of the story are Carly and Philip, two partners that are in love with each other, though neither has professed their feelings because, well, Philip is still married. Well, things take a turn and there's a bit of suspense and mystery added in that make this an enjoyable listen. I don't want to give away any spoilers.

Rose O'Toole did a good job with the narration. There were a few hiccups in the narration, but nothing too major. One example was in Chapter 7. The word was something like animated and she pronounced it am-i-nated. Yeah, I totally rewound it to see if I had heard incorrectly. Overall a good listen though. I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher for an honest review.

It's a bit is a mystery

This is an enjoyable short book that left me with as many questions as it answered.

The how of everything really isn't covered and I wish it had been. Besides that this was a nice way to spend an afternoon. Good characters and a sweet romance make.

The character voices are good and the delivery was enjoyable.

Partners In Love, and Neither Knows It

I received a copy for a voluntary and honest review.

FBI agents just lost a partner and Carly feels guilty. Logan is dead from an explosion, his dog survived, and Philip Carly’s partner is her support.
Carly loves Philip and Philip loves Carly but they each feel they are alone in their feelings, plus Philip is married (unhappily for years but pretends otherwise).
Both are sweet, thoughtful, moral,people..but Philip needed a slap upside the head as he wasn’t the brightest FBI agent, although it is nice for the woman to be the smart one.
The story is short, to the point, easy to listen to...a fun story with some twists that doesn’t make you wait forever to conclude.
The narrator did a nice job, not incredible but a nice job..easy to listen to...The ending is good and is a set up for another book.

The book was just okay. It needed more depth to the story and characters.

NARRATOR REVIEW.......
The narrator was okay but could use work. The male voices especially needs work.
