Publisher's Summary

The matter is settled: Aisling, a beautiful Gaelic lass living on the rocky coast of Ireland, is betrothed to a disgusting (and disgustingly rich) suitor - and the arranged marriage simply cannot be called off. Until it is...by a horde of Viking raiders led by their fierce leader, Cormac, who sweeps into town and sweeps Aisling off her feet.

Stolen away to a rough Viking settlement in Norway, Aisling will need to use all of her wits and wiles to free herself, protect her friend, save her captor's village - and win his heart in the process. Join Aisling for the adventure of a lifetime in a tale that is by turns funny, romantic, and filled with exciting detail from the Age of the Vikings!

More than a romance

I found The Viking's Bride to be a refreshing style of romance. The lack of smutt in every chapter may deter some, however I found the dedication to a solid storyline to be better than most in the romance genre. The main character shows a depth and realism that is unforgettable. She isn't like those other frail damsels in distress. She comes to her own rescue now and then, making her seem strong and fiery. The performance by Luke Daniels was, as always, exemplary in every way.

Not what I expected, way to much filler

The story drags a LOT. Found it difficult to stay focused. Need female/male narrators to fully enjoy. Would probably return

Totally Ridiculous<br />

suffice it to say those interested in a romance novel featuring Vikings are undoubtably looking a strong alpha male lead for some reason the author of this book decides to turn the hero into a babbling Neanderthal idiot without a thought in his brain. starting off with his name Cormac then proceeding to the fact that the hero and heroine doesn't speak to each other four chapters and then when he does his voice is that of the missing link that literally just learned how to speak it's laughable if it wasn't for the fact that we're wasting good money on stuff like this not to mention the fact there are so many obvious plot holes in this book it's a wonder it doesn't look like swiss cheese I'm not going to say anymore I'm just glad that I can get my credit back
