Karen Marie morning is truly expressive

Probably my favorite out of all of her books. Love the time travel the romance and humor. Paul Gigante is truly a talented voice actor/ narrator his vocal talents and reach for each character makes listening a true pleasure!

Yeah I would, and have... It had everything, humor, romance, with a touch of danger.. What more can a girl ask for.

Not sure if I have to be honest, but he did a good job with this book.

Yummy Yummy Yummy

Classic Highland warrior romance with some Fae and time travel thrown in. The overall Highlander series links into Moning’s Fever series, but the only link book 3 has with books 1-2 is Adam Black. He makes another appearance in this book and we get to see a little of the heart underneath the mischief and seduction.
Circenn Brodie, laird and thane, protects several religious and Fae artifacts, so when the flask is lost in an attack, he puts a return spell on it.
Cue Modern day, as Lisa Stone is drawn back in time to 1314 Scotland and Circenn when she touches the flask. I’m sure I’d also think I was dreaming seeing a 6’7” Highlander stepping nude out of the bath;;;D
Yes, they overcome inner and societal obstacles to find love with each other.
Love Phil Gigante’s voice and ability to voice different characters. Really love his Circenn who sounds a lot like Sean Connery. Sigh.

Interesting Story Falls Short

Having read and enjoyed Moning's ENTIRE Highlander series, I think it's fair to say that this one really left me wanting. Moning's spin on the time traveling modern woman into the medieval past in Book 3 starts off most innovative. Highlander's Touch (Book 3) and Kiss of the Highlander (Book 4) were the MOST creative of the series in terms of setting up the story. The first half of ...Touch crafted the romantic chemistry between the characters quite smoothly. That said, the last three or four chapters were weak at best. It was as if it's conclusion was propelled/forced by a publishing deadline. The description, language, and basis of the story's ending falls very short. However, Touch still should get four stars for the majority of the story is truly enjoyable.

Gigante's performance was, as in the rest of the series, impeccable. Like other reviewers have mentioned, his interpretation for male characters in fabulous. It's clear that he does his best with female voices.

Yes I have just listen to Christine Feehan Dark Peril and end have enjoyed both.

I really could not put the book down. There were several places that made me laugh.

I have love all of Karen Marie Moning stories. They have all been great.

Fantastic Storytelling! I

Absolutely loved this book! Loved the way Karen Marie Moning can so accurately discribes the emotions each character is feeling.and the way narrator Phil Gigante makes me feel the emotions too. I can't wait to read the rest of the series, it is fantastic!
