Don't bother

I was nostalgic so I bought this - I should have saved my money. Abridged version leaves much to be desired.

Quick Sexy Listen

I'd heard a lot about this book, and I'm glad I checked it out for myself. The writing was delightful and the characters were well-developed. True, the hero wasn't politically correct by today's standards, but that made it even better. Recommended for those who love a good bodice ripper.

Where is the rest of the story

Would you try another book from Rosemary Rogers and/or Amy Marks?

The Kindle and printed versions of this book are fantastic. But Wow what a disappointment to find the audio is only the first 1/4th of the story. The entire Ginny and Steve struggle is completely missing. You would think this is the end of the story, and yet the book is much more indepth and the struggles don't leave a true happy ending. SO this is not a complete book by any measure. Sorry but was very sad substitution.

This abridged version is disappointing

Many, many years ago, I read the print version of this book and enjoyed it very much. This abridgment left out so much that it lost the depth of character development of the main characters, Ginny and Steve. This was my first and will be my last abridged edition!

Disappointed in Shorten Version of Book

I didn't realize so much of the book would be missing in the audio abridge version. It was a big disappointment because the book is one of my all time favorites to read.

A Classic

A Classic of the romance genre, along with Woodiwiss' Shanna. Unfortunately, Abridged. There should be a special place in literary hell for those men who choose to abridge romances, because they're beneath whatever standard those men have. Puh! I spit on you! If we create our own reality, I'll take romance over murder or psychosis anyday of the week, etc.

A Favorite Read Since the 70's

The only thing I regret about this presentation is too much has been cut from the original book. Why?

The pleasant voice of the narrator was great. I just wish you'd do the novel in its entirety.

I`d read this book before, loved it, but....

What made the experience of listening to Sweet Savage Love the most enjoyable?

I knew what the book was about. I`ve read it in print repeatedly

What was one of the most memorable moments of Sweet Savage Love?

The attraction between the 2 main characters

Which scene was your favorite?

The kidnapping

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

I would not if it was bases on only these 5 chapters

Any additional comments?

..this was not the complete book. That kind of ruined it for me. Only 5 chapters, when I know there is so much more that was not included.VERY DISAPPOINTING and does not give the credit due to Rosemary Rogers. This was her first book one of my favorites..again VERY DISAPPOINTING .In a way I feel cheated :(
