Publisher's Summary

Sadie Townsend is known by all as The Ice Princess and she’s worked hard to earn her reputation. Her father, a now-incarcerated Drug Lord, has kept her under his thumb her whole life, and she’s learned enough from living in his world to give everyone the cold shoulder. But one inebriated night, she shows Hector the Real Sadie, and he knows he’ll stop at nothing to have her. Hector Chavez makes one (huge) mistake: he waits for Sadie to come to him. Tragedy strikes, and Sadie’s got a choice. She can retreat behind her Ice Fortress, or she can embrace the Rock Chick/Hot Bunch World. Guided by Hector, the Rock Chicks, the Hot Bunch and her new gay roommates, Buddy and Ralphie, Sadie negotiates a life out from under her father’s thumb. A life that includes poison, arson and learning how to make s’mores.

Hector vs. the Ice Princess

I love all of the Rock Chick stories, but this one is probably the most emotional. Sadie is a complex character with a lot to learn about friendship and love. She has a lot of walls built up due to her upbringing. Sadie's life is endangered after her father is incarcerated, and Hector, one of the Hot Bunch is not willing to leave her to the wolves. He is also not willing to let her close herself off to him or run away. It's another hot ride with the Rock Chicks and the Hot Bunch. The narrator in this series does a fantastic job - she's one of my favorites.

Emotional and Sweet

I was rocking along with this series until this book. Kidnappings, shootouts, car explosions you name it, but none as bad as what Sadie face in this book. I cry for dear Sadie. Not everyone can bounce back from being through such emotional trauma as being raped to actually be in a normal relationship with someone (Even though I would not call any of these relationship normal!!). Then again only a true Rock Chick could pull that off. These girls are in a relationships with men with bad ass jobs so they got to be hard as nail to deal yeah. Credit worthy listen folks. I am in love with this series. Kristen Ashley and Susannah Jones together makes this series a blast.

P.S. would totally watch the TV Series Rock Chicks :P

The evolution of Sadie

Hector met Sadie when working undercover for the DEA. His case involved Sadie's father, a Drug Dealer and bad guy supreme. Hector had his eye on Sadie during his undercover operation but had kept it to himself until it was over.

Hector waited a year for Sadie to come to him but after she was brutally raped, Hector vows to keep her safe and make her his.

This is a heartwarming story of two people falling in love under some tough circumstances and coming through it together in the end.

Again, Kristen dazzled me with this story of two good, deserving people that fall in love and find their way to happiness.

Susannah, as always, you do a kick ass job on narrating!

Sadie and Hector rock!

Can't get enough of this series. This book will make you laugh and make you cry. But one thing you won't be is bored. I just love the dialogue between characters. Although the books are similar in some ways there's always twist and turns to each one that make them unique. Read the series in order and you won't be disappointed.

Mr Double H

This book was so good. I felt so bad for Sadie and the way she was raised. No wonder she had such an attitude. She just didn't know any better. I am so glad that Hector had the patience to wade through her ice princess fakeness!! I am so glad that at the end her barriers were broken down and she found her true self and started the road to reconciling with the father. The sex scenes were hotttt!! This makes you want to go out and find a hot bunch man!!!

Best one so far

This was absolutely the best so far. The humor level was not as high but the story was better. Wishing there were more than just one to go. KA has become one of my favorite authors. A great series for credits or $.
