Publisher's Summary

Gideon Cross: As beautiful and flawless on the outside as he was damaged and tormented on the inside. He was a bright, scorching flame that singed me with the darkest of pleasures. I couldn’t stay away. I didn’t want to. He was my addiction…my every desire…mine.

My past was as violent as his, and I was just as broken. We’d never work. It was too hard, too painful…except when it was perfect. Those moments when the driving hunger and desperate love were the most exquisite insanity.

We were bound by our need. And our passion would take us beyond our limits to the sweetest, sharpest edge of obsession.…

Second book, better than the first

What did you love best about Reflected in You?

The story is a stronger than the first book. Twisted ending that intrigues me on how they move forward with this behind them.

What other book might you compare Reflected in You to and why?

50 Shades of grey but on a whole different level. These books have a stronger story and raunchier sex than 50 shades. Both good books in their own ways.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I pretty much did.

Any additional comments?

Reflected in you: A crossfire novel book 2 by Sylvia Day
The second book is better than the first. It is full of unexpected twist and turns keeping it intriguing. Stronger story, tons of raunchy sex, and entices you to read the third book. Although, I still find Cross creepy and Eva naïve the read is still a good one. Ready for the third book.
Loved it!!

Would you listen to Reflected in You again? Why?

Yes it was very good. It was a perfect continuation of Bared to You. Sometimes the second book does not stand up to the first book but this one was great. I enjoyed the story.

What other book might you compare Reflected in You to and why?

None that I know of.

Which character – as performed by Jill Redfield – was your favorite?

I enjoyed everyone.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I like it because we all are flawed in some way and the author did a very good job conveying a very passionate relationship with emotional challenges.

Any additional comments?

It was well worth the credit. I recommend listening to Bared to You first.

All I've Ever Wanted

What a remarkable journey into the lives of Gideon and Eva. The narration was a delight. The book was perfect. Oh how I love thee, let me count the ways:
The Narrator was fabulous, (after listening to this book, now one of my top 3 all time favorites)
The Plot was simply the best, the sexual tension/scenes, the pleasure, the eagerness, the characters, the anxiety, the love, the fulfillment, the laughs, the tears, the longing for the next book. I am now officially obsessed with the Crossfire series.

This book has little (very little) likeness to Fifty Shades of Gray.

My note to publisher and Author:
I hate you for making me wait until June for the next book.

Wow, didn't see THAT ending coming...

Where does Reflected in You rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Upper 25%.

What does Jill Redfield bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Really strong voices. Each one has their own story and voice. I love that they didn't blend together.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes ma'am!

Any additional comments?

So this probably defeats the purpose of the book, but I found myself wanting more talk and less sex. Weird hey? I know. In this book we delved more into of Gideon's problems, as well as more of Eva's past. I was rooting for them, and was bothered by sex being the answer to everything for them. However, I am really looking forward to the third book. And by the way...did anyone else see that ending coming? Not me!

Story is dull first half. Not as expected.

Narrator was good but I would very much prefer a male voice for Gideon. Skipped bits and pieces in the 1st half. Repetitive.

Hmm

Story really picked up at the end, less of the repetitive sex scenes would be great. Altogether enjoyable, let's see what the third book brings

good but not as alluring as first

hope nook 3 is better as this one did not grasp my attention aa the first and there are gaps in my view not necessarily making me wait in awe to find out but rather leave me confused

Better then the first

Narration was brilliant yet again, can't fault it. It would probably benefit from having a male doing Gideons part, but she made it work well enough with what she had.

I was pretty fed up with the constant break ups every 5 minutes, it was worse then Blaire and Chick Bass (Gossip Girl). Also the story twists didn't really go anywhere, the conclusion was pretty dull. But the fact I listened all the way through means I'm probably not giving it enough credit.

unbelievably amazing !!!

I didn't think I could experience so many emotions in such a short amount of time. I have been on the edge of my seat on sentenced gripped with anticipation and giggling like a school girl at the next sentence.
Fantastic writing which really pulls you in. Aided by the extremely well delivered narration. The voice variations plus the descriptives help bring the characters and the story alive.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND and to enforce that I'm now going to start book 3.
Have fun and enjoy 😀

Pretty mixed!

Although the plot within, was deep, insightful and profound; all the characters felt like they were locked in a referendum of love. You couldn't tell which one was up or down.
