Publisher's Summary

Thrust into a world of danger and fear, first grade teacher Emily is forced to comply with a terrifying MC president's demands in order to save her brother's life. Her only port in the storm is Jester, a member of a rival MC she's supposed to use and betray. Jester proves to be the opposite of everything Emily expects, and before long she's in his bed, and he's in her heart.

Jester would give life and limb for the No Prisoners Motorcycle Club. His sole focus needs to be on the impending attack against their enemies, the Grimm Brothers. Meeting sweet and innocent Emily wasn't part of his plan, and falling for her is out of the question.

Can Emily save her brother's life without destroying the man who opens her eyes and heart to an amazing world of pleasure? She'll do anything in her power to help her brother while protecting Jester, but when Jester finds out she was sent by his enemy, she may lose everything she's trying to preserve.

    Story
"Chosing Between a Rock and a Hard Place"

Jester is about Emily who is thrust into Jester's world of motorcycle clubs. Her brother, who is a drug addict did the one thing that any drug addict would do is to steal from the Grimm Brother MC to get his fix. His theft does not go unnoticed. In order for Emily to keep her brother alive, she would have to sell herself to find out what the rival MC, No Prisoners is up to.

Jester noticed Emily in one of the club celebration and protected her from falling prey of being a sex object to members of his club. The attraction is instant between Emily and Jester. As Emily gets more involved with the No Prisoners MC, she discovered not all MC is subjective to being stereo-typing and the more she is losing her heart to Jester. The only thing is Emily would lose everything with Jester when he discovered that she spying on his Club.

I love how the story put the readers/listeners into Emily's point of view of being trapped into something that no one would do and the desperation of trying to save her brother. In some way, her babying of her brother has put her into a course where her life is put into danger.

I also love that Jester become the hero to Emily. Even though he is unaware of what Emily is doing, he knew that Emily was hiding something from him.

I just love how Emily's character grew from being a mousy first-grade teacher to becoming a stronger woman of being with Jester.

The narrators, Noah Michael Levine and Erin DeWard did a wonderful performance for Jester and Emily. I love the voice for Jester of how self-assure and self-confident of himself until he discovered the missing part of himself is finding and claiming Emily. The narrator, Erin DeWard did a wonderful job of Emily of her being scared and frightened. Both narrators also did a wonderful job for the other characters in the story.

Even though I have not read or listened to the first book in the No Prisoners MC series, this series show promises of being one of those series that readers/listeners would enjoy. I do plan to go back to find out more about Stryker and the MC rivalry between the Grimm Brothers MC and the No Prisoners MC.

I received this audiobook at no-cost from Audiobookworm Promotions. The gifting of this audiobook did not affect my opinion of it.

    Story
"May Be The Ride Of Your Life"
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would. The narrators do a good job. I felt that Mr. Levine had me imagining what a man in an MC might sound like. He brought the male characters to life.

What did you like best about this story?

I loved the mix of suspense and action. The only thing that might have made it better was if I could listen to this book while riding on a motorcycle - the ultimate way to set a scene.

Which character – as performed by Noah Michael Levine and Erin DeWard – was your favorite?

I may surprise some people but I actually liked Jester. He may seem to be a big burly bad*ss but you can tell that he really cares about Emily. He's a man that would do anything for his family. There's no mistaking what type of club he belongs to.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I wouldn't say that it made me cry but you will get a strong emotion when Snake makes his appearance and every time he contacts Emily. He also has you wanting to kick a certain someone in the butt.

    Any additional comments?

I actually listened to this book three times. For some reason every time that Ms. DeWard said "Jester" I kept hearing "Chester. This was one reason, but not the only one, that I listened to it so many times. I'm not sure if my brain and my ears just couldn't connect or it's just the way Ms. DeWard was pronouncing his name. But I did keep hearing it the same way each time.

There's some violence but it's not graphic enough that it should stop you from listening. Our two main characters create a lot of heat and during this hot weather we're having I had to crank up the air conditioning. This was the first book that I've listened to by this author and I'm hoping it won't be my last. Especially if there's more coming up in this series.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Audio Copy of this book.

"Jester is big, strong, funny, and super HOT!!!"

Jester is the Sargent At Arms for the No Prisoners MC, in fact he has just been given the position at the beginning of this book. Emily is the sweet older sister of Johnny who is a drug addict who also sells drugs for a The Grimm Brothers MC. Johnny has used the drugs instead of selling them, to save her brothers life she is forced to spy on the No Prisoners. In the process of spying, Emily starts dating Jester and they call for each other fast. Emily is forced to find a way to save her brother without betraying Jester and his "brothers" .
I love how Jester is this huge intense looking guy, but is still able to express his feelings for Emily. They are such a sweet couple who have a very steamy sex life!!! I hope Lilly Atlas decides to put the Hook and Marcie's book on Audible. I love this series!!!

"A fast paced thrilling and exciting story!"
    Any additional comments?

Jester was a fast paced thrilling and exciting story that will keep you entertained for hours. It is about a strong woman, Emily, who would do anything for the people that she loves however; she never planned on her heart being placed on the line in the process. She has to make tough choices that leave will leave her vulnerable and open for hurt and heartache. Jester is the sexy newly voted in member of the No Prisoner’s Motorcycle Club who cannot keep the beautiful woman out of his mind that he sees at his celebration party.

This story has a great mixture of action and romance. It has incredible twist and turns with a unique and intriguing plot. There is a lot of action and suspense to grab your attention from beginning to end. The characters are strong and developed well while being entertaining. The book was well thought out and written to show you all kinds of emotions. You will laugh and cry right along with the characters. There is some intense and passionate sex scenes throughout.

Noah Michael Levine and Erin DeWard did a great job on the narration. They each brought their own unique and remarkably different voice to each character. I personally liked having the two different voices throughout the story.

This was the first book that I have read and listened to by Lilly Atlas. I was not disappointed at all. I can’t wait for the next book in the series. I recommend Lilly Atlas to anyone that wants to read a motorcycle club romantic suspense that will keep you entertained from the beginning to the end.

"Unexpected Must Read"
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Third POV is difficult for me to enjoy initially. If I am able to be captivated it take a few chapters. Jester did captivate me which allowed me to finish the book. So few books are written in third person so it's hard to change gears. The characters made you root for them and their potential for a HEA.

What other book might you compare Jester to and why?

    Knight's Rebels series

Which character – as performed by Noah Michael Levine and Erin DeWard – was your favorite?

I preferred Noah's performance of Jester.

"It’ll leave you wanting to read the entire series"
    Any additional comments?

I have always wanted to give audiobooks a try and after reading the synopsis, I decided that Jester would be the book to pop my audiobook cherry. The voice actors did take a bit of time to get used but I thought they did a great job. They kept the story interesting and really kept my interest throughout the whole book. The quality of the audiobook was perfect and I had no problems with it at all. This book’s word choice can get a little raunchy. I didn’t realize hearing words like “cock” and “pussy” would make me giggle and blush. Although I enjoyed the audiobook version of this, I felt maybe if I was reading it, it would have been a better experience for me because apparently I’m too immature to hear certain words. All kidding aside, the story itself was well put together and thought out. You get to know not just the two main characters, but you also get to know other characters that have been a part of the series thus far. This book can be read as a stand alone even though it is the second part of the No Prisoners MC series. There’s plenty of dirty talk, steamy sex scenes with just the right amount of suspense and action going on. I’m telling you, it’ll leave you wanting to read the entire series in one go!

    "This is No Joke"

Jester falls on the lighter scale of MC romances. It's got a bit of the grit but not full immersion. The focus is on the couple rather than the club. Still, it has the right amount of grit, rough and tough alpha males and delicious sexiness. The plot flows smoothly as the main characters form a bond that turns into love. In the end, it's all very sweet.

The narrators performed well. Though I still hate when the narrators actually laugh - it gives me the creeps. Otherwise, no complaints. I enjoyed this in audio and plan to listen to the next as soon as possible. I think Acer is next! And I can't wait!!

"Yummy! Can I Get A Jester?"

I love a good MC book and this series has got my attention. This book is just the right amount of gritty, raw and hot sexiness with a tinge of sweetness. It has just enough darkness to it to make it interesting. Jester and his brothers, at least most of them have redeeming qualities that make you want to root for them oh and get in their pants. Tell me, who doesn't like a hot biker dude with a dirty mouth ...

Good narrators kept me interested and listening to the end. I was either squirming in my seat or sitting on the edge of my seat.

Definitely worth the credit. Can't wait for the next book in the series -- Acer seems like an intriguing fellow.
