Loved it All! The book and the narration!

I’m a bit of an audiobook snob. I’ve been listening to books since 2007 and been on Audible since 2009. I have passed over a great number of well written books because they tried to go cheap with the narrators.

No issue with that here. They did a great job! They brought the story to life for me. It’s only one of the reasons I enjoy audiobooks so much. (ADHD being another!)

The story itself was great also. Very well written and it did not seem like just one more MC romance book. It kept my attention and provided some surprises along the way. I loved getting to know the characters and am looking forward to the next book in the series so I can find out even more about them.

Definitely a must read!

Voodoo & Vengeance

This started off running. Ogun & Kyra have amazing chemistry! The secrets of both of their pasts come back to haunt them, will they both escape alive?
Vengeance will be wrought!

Oh my word, this audio left me speechless, the narrators did an out if this world job. The book was already phenomenally done well by our Kristine Allen but to hear it is even better. Thank You Thank You 💋💋💋

Love Voodoo!

Voodoo is possibly my favorite book from Kristine Allen, and the audio book makes it even that much better! I haven’t even finished the entire story yet but it will be on repeat on my audible for the next foreseeable future! So good!

Interesting twist to the characters in this MC. Some good sex scenes and a good story line. Ready for Angel!

DONE ~ DUSTED ~ LOVED.. & NOW CRAVING MORE

There’s no wonder I’ve got all of this talented author’s audiobooks in my library.. her stories are so compelling, her characters are loveable and her romances are delicious. Here you’ll meet sexy alpha biker Voodoo and his MC brothers.. and you’ll also meet the Vet that has had him drooling for a year. But there’s much more to Voodoo than a damaged background because he gets his name for a reason.. and he’s not the only one in the Clubhouse with special supernatural abilities. When Voodoo eventually manages to get a date with Vet Kira he thinks his troubles are over.. then the Club gets a job that changes everything. And Voodoo will need his brothers (and someone’s particular ability) because there’s much more in Kira’s past than a life as a Vet.. a dark and damaged one with roots in the Bratva where a father’s hate will have bloody bloody consequences.

There’s humor and warmth as these two loving dog owners instantly click once Kira’s magnetism to the sexy biker finally crumbles her defences.. and their soul-to-soul connection does the rest. Which is all pretty instant after Voodoo’s visions he roared “mine”.. and, after the job offer that changes everything, he had to show ‘mine’ However, along with good visions came bloody ones too.. so, which ones will be true.. or will they all be? And old enemies are watching.. and some new ones are planning. And I loved it all as the friction turns to fireworks.. as Voodoo claims and marks his old lady.. as their new beginnings are severely threatened.. and as a mysterious MC brotherhood rallies together to fight for one of their own.

Worth a credit? Yes I loved it. It was an absolute delight to listen to because the duet-style dual POV narration made the story flow so well and the narrative had a more natural and realistic feel (man does hero/female does heroine) and both narrators were great.. especially Eric 😉. It also had a unique twist on the usual biker stories with its mystery surrounding the paranormal/supernatural abilities.. but they didn’t drown the plot. It must be warned that it has some bloody scenes of torture because the members of the Royal Bastards like to get viciously creative when it comes to payback. And it has passion and sex and love flowing through the tender and turbulent hours of a very entertaining and thrilling listen.

Do your research!

This takes place in Ankeny Iowa. I live about 30 minutes away from Ankeny. The way the narrators pronounce the Ankeny makes me cringe every time. Did the author even listen to the narration for this book? I mean it's great narration but when the name of the city the MC is out of is mispronounced, it's embarrassing. I haven't read a book that was based in Iowa yet so I was super excited to start this one. But please, for the love of God, learn the name of the city before narrating.
