Quite HOT!!!

Okay, so this story is not a "normal life" kind of story, but honestly I read (listen) to escape laundry and normal life not to embrace it, there is no part of this story that isn't pretty fanciful but I enjoyed it. Good characters, great secondary characters, crazy story line (not in a bad way) This one does leave us with quite a cliffhanger, which I HATE but...the second book is out so we are all good!!! Narration was good, and story flows well.

There are times I wanted to scream and beat Bianca and honestly James is a saint at times putting up with her. Don't get me wrong, I like Bianca, but JEESCH!

Okay, so yes, I liked it, glad I listened and would recommend.

Sexy, romantic, and suspenseful.

Altho ultimately not my cup of tea, this book really is suspenseful, dramatic, sexy, and very romantic. I was not aware that it contained BDSM. Not that it disgusts me, but it is not tittilating to me. For the right listener/reader, this book could easily end up in their top 10 favorites. The author has created quite the intricate world, and certaily knows how to write damaged, tortured characters. They are well done, deeply wounded, highly passionate, and very human. Yes, there was the occasional use of some flowery synonyms for genetalia (which was a bit hard for me to take seriously), but all in all, if you're looking for a BDSM romance, do take the time to listen or read this book. You may just like it.

What made the experience of listening to In Flight the most enjoyable?

This book is a great one. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Just wish they would hurry up the the next two. Its a great read. gets max stars from me. In Crossfire you have Gideon and Eva. In this you have Bianca and James. Very similar intense love affair, would recommend it to anyone who likes Fifty Shades or Crossfire.

No but I really think she is excellent

For Those Who Like Billionare Domination It Themes

What did you like best about In Flight? What did you like least?

Best: I liked the book...fantasy (not PNR fantasy.) It was well written and a blend of humor, romance, over the top - this could never happen but its fun to imagine it could.

Least: Story line of billionaire, dominant is getting tiresome for ME. That is not to take anything away from this book. It is a great book with enough originality to not be a cookie cutter 'billionaire' story.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

It is a cliffhanger...there is no completion, so know that you'll be tempted to buy the next two.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

The narrator was average to better than average in the female character roles. The male characters left a bit to be a desired.

Do you think In Flight needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

It is the first of 3 books...so it has a follow-up book. I don't think I'll invest in the next two because I'm tired of this type of story.

What aspect of Elizabeth Powers’s performance would you have changed?

I listened to the book with head phones and it sounded like she had a lozenge in her mouth. It just about drove me crazy enough to quit the book. I don't know if it's as noticeable listening to it on a speaker. By book 3 either I was used to it or she didn't make that noise anymore.

Was In Flight worth the listening time?

It was worth it, I guess. I liked the story but the some of the erotic stuff was more abusive than erotic and in the 3rd book some of it was just gross.

Meh...

I expected more.... I felt that the leading lady and her BFF dominated this book more that the leading lady and her leading man!

Bianca is a walled-up flight attendant who is tempted into the world of pleasure & pain by a billionaire sort-of playboy James. I felt James and Bianca mostly connected while having sex...but as individuals, bonding was a problem... primarily because Bianca is very walled-up, she can't read all the signs right in front of her!

Not the worst listen by far... but it just didn't have that edge...

Good story holds your interest
