Publisher's summary

Even in Grundy, Alaska, its unusual to find a naked guy with a bear trap clamped to his ankle on your porch. But when said guy turns into a wolf, recent southern transplant Mo Wenstein has no difficulty identifying the problem. Her surly neighbor Cooper Graham, who has been openly critical of Mo's ability to adapt to life in Alaska, has trouble of his own. Werewolf trouble.

For Cooper, an Alpha in self-imposed exile from his dysfunctional pack, its love at first sniff when it comes to Mo. But Cooper has an even more pressing concern on his mind. Several people around Grundy have been the victims of wolf attacks, and since Cooper has no memory of what he gets up to while in werewolf form, hes worried that he might be the violent canine in question.

If a wolf cries wolf, it makes sense to listen, yet Mo is convinced that Cooper is not the culprit. Except if hes not responsible, then who is? And when a werewolf falls head over haunches in love with you, what are you supposed to do anyway? The rules of dating just got a whole lot more complicated.

Werewolves rule

I loved the beginning of this series. It makes me want to move to Alaska. Plus, Mo and Cooper are a great pair. Add in Amanda Ronconi's narration and you have a winner.

Loved IT!

This is my first book by Molly Harper. I really liked the story and characters especially Mo and Cooper! The narrator was great (which is very important). This audiobook is entertaining, romantic, and funny. I typically listen to a wide variety of fiction, nonfiction, great courses and business books. This book was memorable. Great listen!

I've listened to all 3 books over and over in bed, while cleaning and driving, I enjoy the characters especially Moe and Evie who remind me of some of my own friendships.

Fun, funny and well-read

This was the first book I've read by this author and was very pleasantly surprised. Also, being a Southerner, it was great to hear a reader with a believable, slightly-Southern accent. Certainly one of the most entertaining audio books I've listented to in a while. Indeed, I can't think of the heroine or the varied cast of Alaskan characters without smiling.

Hilarious for Good and Slightly Bad Reasons

The book has been a barrel of laughs storywise and narratorwise. Story, funny, the protagonist is relatable and witty and love interest being interesting. The only (slight) problem is the narration, though this problem applies to all romance audiobooks and not just this one. All speaking parts are narrated by a female narrator, and while she can make different and distinguishable voices for different female characters, she tries to do the same for the male characters with unintentionally hilarious effect. The love interest (male) sounds like an underaged boy trying to fake a deep voice while inhaling helium. I had to admit, I laughed my butt off for 2 minutes when I first heard his voice. The other males were more acceptable but they could never pass off as a man's voice. The voice acting could use some work but because I enjoyed the voices, both the male and the female, for different reasons, I will still give the performance 5 stars.

Mo is from my hometown!

This was the first Molly Harper book I read and after reading it, I knew Molly would be an author I read again. I loved that Mo was from my hometown in little ole MS. That is something you definitely don't hear everyday. Also, I can't say enough great things about the narrator, Amanda Ronconi. The fact that she actually do a believable southern accent is a huge plus but she also has great energy and keeps the story flowing. I highly recommend anything Molly Harper writes!

Definitely a Keeper

This was my first experience with Molly Harper's work, but it certainly won't be the last. She combined humor, with romance, and danger/mystery. Amanda Ronconi's narration was great and the book kept my attention all the way through.
