Escorted me to my junior prom. Gave me my first kiss...among other things. He was my first taste of toe-curling, all-consuming, can't-sleep love.

Then everything changed. I became a prisoner. I prayed for Skin to save me. He did - and he kept me for himself.

A series of weather and road mishaps leave me trapped in the middle of a blizzard with a complete stranger. In the back of a pickup truck. For 48 freakin' hours. A stranger with long hair, tattoos, and rippling with muscle. A stranger with an insanely sexy voice and a wicked smile that turns my insides to jelly. Your wedding day is supposed to be the happiest day of your life, right? That's what they say, at least. I went into that day hoping I'd get the happiest day of my life. What I got? The worst. I mean, you really can't get any worse of a day without someone actually dying. So...I may have gotten just a little drunk, and maybe just a tad impetuous...and landed myself in a dive bar somewhere in Alaska, alone, still in my wedding dress, half wasted and heartbroken.

Songwriter Dylan McCoy has been burned. By her boyfriend she found in her bed...with someone else. By the contract she signed that obligates her to work with him until the songs for his new album are complete. By her agent when she asked Dylan to keep their breakup on the down-low. When she finds herself in Sunnyville, she refuses to let her new roommate burn her too. Still...a rebound has never looked so good.
Saving lives is the end goal. It's a responsibility I live with every day, the reason I wear the badge. Built on a brotherhood that runs deeper than blood, this way of life has become my very existence.... Until Liberty. I thought I was saving her. I never expected her to be the one saving me.
The first time I met Chase Parker, I didn't exactly make a good impression. I was hiding in the bathroom hallway of a restaurant, leaving a message for my best friend to save me from my awful date. He overheard and told me I was a bitch, then proceeded to offer me some dating advice. So I told him to mind his own damn business and went back to my miserable date. I couldn't help but sneak hidden glances at the condescending jerk on the other side of the room. Of course, he caught me on more than one occasion, and winked.
Hendrix Caldwell wants nothing more than to revitalize the family bar and tear down every last reminder of his no-good father. But business isn't the only thing on his mind. An explosive encounter with a stranger at a charity masquerade is just the distraction he craves, with no names and no strings attached. For Hendrix, sex is casual, and love is a four-letter word. His commitment is to his brothers, his bar, and his bike. So why can't he stop thinking about the naughty Cinderella who rocked his world then left him - and her panties - behind?
Olivia Hemmingway knows that fairy tales are for little girls. Drowning in debt and hiding a shameful secret, she won't be saved by a knight in tattooed armor, no matter how mind-blowing their one-night stand may have been. Olivia never expects to meet her masked lover again. But when she takes a job at Hendrix Caldwell's bar, her sexy new boss seems all too familiar. And once the lights go out and the music is turned up, the sparks between them burn hotter than ever....
Contains mature themes.
I was disappointed in this book. I certainly expected more from the summary.
The hero good - great guy with a good heart. While the heroine was a total disaster. Over and over again she says she's supporting herself and has strength, but she cannot pay her bills, get over her last, or act like a freaking adult! So tired of hearing about her underwear with sayings on it and the butt rubbing - ugh! Total annoyance!!

Olivia gets roped into a charity masquerade where she has a lusty encounter with a masked stranger.
Not being able to see 🙈 eachother seriously enhanced the sexiness of this one nighter.
Hendrix is this hot tatted up bar owner with a love 'em and leave 'em reputation.
When Olivia ends up in a financial pickle, her job at the hospital just isn't going to cut covering the bills.
A second job is the only way to dig herself out of the hole.
The job quest leads her right to Coldwell's Bar.
The chemistry is apparent from the start with neither knowing they are the masked lovers from the masquerade.
When the sexual tension really starts to build a pair of panties surface that causes the realization of who they really are to sink in.
Things heat up pretty quickly in this somewhat drama filled listen.
The slow narration was kind of distracting in the beginning but, after playing with the speed setting it was perfect.
I'm glad that fixed the problem because I thoroughly enjoyed the book after that.
More than just a enticing hot hook up..
There's strong family bonds and lots of love 😍 here.
Definitely credit worthy!!

Three sons, Hendrix, Morrison and Jagger, hot, good hearted and loved their mother hated their father. This is the oldest Hendrix and Olivia's (quirky sweet Olivia) story.
Never thinking he would wish to have a serious relationship Hendrix has a hot interlude with a woman in a closet at a masked cancer benefit. She lands up working at his bar needing extra money. At first not recognizing each other they fall for each other. There's some angst and fighting of feelings but eventually they fill in each other's lives.
Sweet, hot and romantic I highly recommend this story with a great audio. The male voice is perfect and so is the woman's. love to listen to them anytime with interesting voices with perfect use of emotion and timing
Get this book and you won't regret it...also the brothers Morrison and Jagger

This book is an erotic romance book, if you like Magic Mike you will like this.
Hendrix Caldwell is not looking for a relationship but when he takes the place of a friend for a charity masquerade, he has a one night stand and leaving nothing behind but her panties. He has no business getting involved but when a second chance comes walking in his door asking for a job, he is not one to throw caution to the wind, but he gets more than he bargained for and he wants nothing less, now he has to convince her that.
Olivia Hemmingway doesn't believe in happy ending, something always goes wrong but when she gets a disconnection bill she has no choice but to look for another job. She has no idea that her boss is her one night stand and he wants nothing more than to have more than one night.

Where does Hendrix rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Great story with interesting characters that kept me listening
Which character – as performed by Lidia Dornet and Guy Locke – was your favorite?
Hendrix was my favorite; but Livvie was also done very well.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The part where Livvie tells Hendrix what happened to her when she was 14; also the part where Hendrix talks to his mother at her grave.
Any additional comments?
Wonderful audio that is very enjoyable and with depth; I highly recommend.
Love me the ending of this book. It shows empowerment and healing. I wish the step brother had been confronted more about what his abuse had really done.
Loved it. I wish there was more books with this kind of moral to the story as I was a victim too and it took me a long time to forgive myself to realize that it was not my fault. I loved the way the characters helped each other mend their own troubles. The love scenes were hot very hot!
This is way more than just a romance and you might just need a tissue.
Read the book to find out what is up with the undies.
There are some parts in the story that had me go HUH? but I liked the story overall.
Olivia is not really my fave kind of heroine, that constant butt rubbing was annoying, but I understand it was her way to cope and I like her quotes quirk. I am glad she found Hendrix. Now Hendrix is quite lovable, strong Alpha type who is loyal and very protective. He is close to his brothers and the bar clientele like him, there are a few that add to the hilarity of some of the scenes. Their wedding was awesome, and Jared was hilarious officiating their wows. That scene alone added one star :D
Mr. Locke's voice is pleasant to listen to, but the slow pace he employs most of the book doesn't really match the story. Ms. Dornet did quite well, her voice is easy on the ears and expressive.
