Loved it.... Read it twice and listened twice now I Beyond love this book!! Soo steamy and hot!

great book all by itself but the reader for the audio book was amazing i loved the emotion in her voice while reading it which is my biggest issue with audio books. i have been disappointed with many books i love because the reader had a mono tone which ruins the experience but not with this book. very satisfied with my purchase and i highly recommend

worst narration ever

Is there anything you would change about this book?

The male voices were just so silly that I laughed out loud. Sorry but it is true. Whoever did the casting should be fired.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

The performance isn't really up to par with others I have listened to. And I mean no disrespect to the reader, but she sounds a little too much like the Valley Girls of the 80's. She got pretty annoying. As for the story...I think it was a bit too mild and too much of a romance. I still haven't talked myself into buying the next book.

Would you be willing to try another book from E. L. James? Why or why not?

I will more than likely try the next "Grey" book in the series, but if it is too much like the first one...I doubt I will waste my time with the third.

What didn’t you like about Becca Battoe’s performance?

Too much like a Valley Girl and didn't really come across as intelligent as I think Anna was supposed to be portrayed.

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

Prolly not!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was narrated very well and the story line was good.

Where does Fifty Shades of Grey rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This was my first audiobook from audibles. I have heard other audiobooks but they were of a different genre so I can't do a fair comparison.

What did you like best about this story?

I enjoy how the author tells the story within a woman's head as well. She speaks of an inner goddess and sub conscience. Both of which we constantly have to hear from but never really speak of.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

While listening to this book I couldn't stop showing facial reactions like smiling at certain parts or rolling my eyes when a character was out of line. You really started to feel for the characters as if you were there watching it all play out.

Any additional comments?

The book was well read. I believe if you are going to do an "erotic" novel you need to not be edited on anything. There were certain words that were edited but shouldn't be. I don't know if it was the reader who wasn't comfortable or Audible but a book should be read word for word. Because of this I bought the second book in hard copy. I felt as though I was missing out on something. Also when reading the email portion of the book it gets annoying.

Fifty shades of grey

It is very funny and sad at the same time. The writing is not the best but the story of two characters intrigues me and Christian's screwed up mind.
