Best of Three

I just loved this book have read the other two and enjoyed them very much however the narrater was just so good in this book it was my favourite.
Her english accent for Gwen was brilliant as were her voices for the men. One of the best narraters of many books I have purchased.

I love the way Catherine had enough of the characters in each book to feel you knew them it worked just so perfectly.

The storyline was a bit deeper than usual chick lit I had trouble putting it down
just an interesting Weekday Brides set.

I have never read Catherine Bybee prior to reading these three books but will be looking out for any more of her books. She writes a very good light book do hope there are more to come.

Awesome author and narrator..

Any additional comments?

Wonderful book! Loved Neil and Gwen, and Rick was great too. Loved seeing Samantha, Jessi, Karen, Blake and Carter again. Loved the relationship between Karen and Michael. And I couldn't have asked for a better narrator.

Another Good Enough for an Easy Listen

This book is another great example of an easy-listen romance for when you can't pay strict attention to what you're listening to. Similar to Book 2 of this series, the characters and story are good enough, but they're not developed adequately to earn a higher rating.

Although aspects of this story were supposed to be suspenseful, these plot points were never nail-biting and often fairly predictable. It all just felt like the plot was moving its way along and that everything would be just fine soon enough. I also wasn't very drawn to the protagonists' relationship. I get that opposites attract, but that wasn't laid out well enough and felt as if the audience was just expected to accept it rather than understand it.

Tanya Eby is like everything else in that she's good enough. She's pretty good for most of the things you're looking for from a narrator, but her accents aren't the best, and this makes a difference for me if you want more than three stars.

I recommend this to fans of the author and series.

A bit of danger and Love

Oh what a sweet love story. The characters a just wonderful, and I love that you continue to see what is going on in their lives. This is a family and they grow together, love, and keep each other safe. The narrator was very good bringing the story to life.

More research required

This choppy story demonstrated the author's shallow knowledge of military life. Her mistakes are painful.

Another great book in a even better series.

This was yet another great installment in the series. I really enjoyed the suspense in the novel and the only thing I struggled with was stopping. This was a great book with good narration.

Not as good as others in this series

I have listened to most of the books in this series and liked them all. Unfortunately this one just did not match up. The romance was unconvincing with no real reason why they could not hook up but some misguided nonsense by the H that he was in some way damaged (ex-Military/survivors guilt). The h was English, titled, privileged and much is made of the fact that she manages to pick up spiders and dead birds, and go camping etc. without freaking out. It was all a bit cliché. There was a really silly scene where she had to dress up like a cheap hooker, just so they could check into a cheap motel without her being identified. Couldn’t she just wear a hat and stay in the car?

The whole plot line was unconvincing. Since when does disappearing for 3 days and putting friends and family into a panic achieve anything? Apart from allowing the couple to have lots of steamy sex of course. It all got just a little bit boring and the story dragged in the middle.

There were silly plot holes: Illegal squatters decide to install in a hot tub; H was in hiding but h’s brother somehow knew that he had brought a diamond ring; security experts fail to find any listening bugs but then later on go back and suddenly do find them. The whole carefully contrived plot to make the H look paranoid is derailed by the baddie typing H's name in a secure computer database (why not just use "John Smith"!). The ending was completely unreal. Would the H really walk away from his seriously injured "brother"? The h threatens military officials with a press conference to expose US military secrets if she does not get what she wants. Seriously? And she wasn’t immediately arrested??!

I will continue to be a fan of Ms Bybee, as I do usually enjoy her books. This one may not have kept my interest, but it was, as usual, well edited and the narration was perfect.
