Publisher's Summary

New York Times best seller.

Beloved author Emily March returns with a warm and uplifting novel about a small town with a big heart.

Welcome to Eternity Springs, a little piece of Heaven in the Colorado Rockies.

Gabriel Callahan has lost everything that mattered. All he wants is solitude on an isolated mountain estate. Instead, he gets a neighbor. Vibrant, no-nonsense Nic Sullivan is Eternity Springs’ veterinarian, and she has an uncanny plan to lure this talented architect back to the world of the living. First with a dog, next with a renovation project, and, finally, with a night of passion that ends with a surprise.

Now a man still raw from tragedy must face the biggest struggle of his heart. Can he forgive himself and believe in the power of second chances? Dare he trust in the promise of a future and a brand-new family here in Eternity Springs?

Unbelievebly Good!

Emily March does a fantastic job of portraying the broad spectrum love can take you -- from elated delight to heartbreaking sorrow. This book withdrew from me such intense emotion that I literally could not stop listening! This is my first experience with EM as an author, and if it is any indication of what the rest of her work is like, I am now a devoted fan. The narration by Kathe Mazur was also excellent! I hope Audible continues to add more books by Emily March.

Unexpectedly Heart-Wrenching

I am not generally lured into these feel good romances, as the plots are generally way too slow paced for my tastes, but due to some interesting reviews, I gave this one a shot. This book kept my interest peeked just about the whole way through.

The book has a shattered and troubled male lead (which is my fav time) who seemingly just keeps making awful decisions through out the story, as it relates to a budding relationship with the female lead. So the book takes fabulous turns from the routine "getting to know you" formula to "OMG did that really just happen!" I also like this because, yes people realistically do make decisions based on paralyzing drama from past events that have nothing to do with the current situation and from plain old selfishness. And a good book and narrator should truly take the reader on this emotional roller-coaster with our characters.

This is no romance mixed in a thriller, or adventure, so I will not give it perfect ratings, but if you are looking for a well written enjoyable wholesome romance only, then look no further. My rating is 3.5 out of 5.

Wonderful!!!!

I love this series. When I first started listening, I thought the story started a little slow, and the reader was a little too drab. Well, I was so wrong. The story is the best, and the reader is perfect. I would highly recomment this series to all.

Make sure you start with the first book, and continue through the series.

I am sorry the next book won't be out until September 2012.

In other words, I LOVE THIS SERIES.

this is not a Christmas story

I bought this thinking it was a Christmas romance story, it wasn't. Only the first couple of chapters are set at Christmas time and the rest of book occurs in other months. Not a bad story but not as good as others in series.

Dramatic read !

This was my first Emily March book & I listened to it straight through last night. It was recommended by a friend as being along the same line as the Virgin River series by Robyn Carr which I love. I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised & am currently downloading the next book in the series ...

That being said this is not a light read it is very dramatic & emotional ... these are two damaged people caught by surprise trying to do the best that they can.

I was not crazy about the narrator, to me she seemed a bit flat.

Couldn’t stop listening!

I loved this story from the beginning to the end. Ms Marsh has the ability to evoke emotions through the development of her stories and her characters. I am looking forward to reading the rest of this series. The performance of the narrator was excellent……I loved the voices she used for each of the characters. A captivating story! Marge C.

Ruined by the ending

What the male protagonist did was unforgivable & I despised him at the end. Would never trust him again. Ruined the entire story.

Not the best from Emily March

I’ve liked her other stories but this one was just bad. The voice actor was excellent. Really liked her but the story was about a codependent female with no spine, too religious of a friend, and an awful narcissistic mentally abusive male character. Had a hard time finishing the story but I did just hoping the female lead would put him in his place, the trash, like he deserved.

A poor substitute

This was a poor substitute or Virgin River by Robyn Carr it has a small town, querky characters. A strong female doctor/vet, women’s quilting group like Grace Valley another of RC trilogy’s.
The story needed more individuality
