Publisher's summary

Dark Chaos is the fourth book in the ongoing Bregdan Chronicles historical novel series. It's listeners like you who have turned it into a world-wide best-seller.

Dark clouds and chaos descend lower upon America as the war rages around them; threatening all they hold dear.

Carrie and Robert are once more pulled apart, and Carrie finds herself the target of a hostile group of men determined to stop her from providing medical care for black residents of Richmond. How long can she continue to save other people's lives at the risk of her own?

Aunt Abby is sucked into a violent riot in the North, while Matthew faces the greatest challenge of his life.

Rose welcomes new life, while Moses risks everything as a Northern spy.

The ultimate test comes as the people of a once-promising nation must hold onto their faith and dreams as everything around them crumbles.

loved this book so well written.

Antietam battle brought to life. The sufferings on both sides so well described. I felt a greater appreciation for those who sacrificed their lives .

The Reality of “Civil” War

This installment of this series conveys some of the brutality of the war and the daily horrors we seldom realize but then mental and emotional toll it took. It helps me to realize why the laws regarding the treatment of prisoners exist today. It also resounds the truth that no one wins in combat

absolutely adore this series

this series of ghost prompted me to go to Richmond and search out some of the facts that were in the book A lot of the places are still there a lot of them are gone Chimborazo prison is nothing but a monument and a little building now but it's so inspired me and I enjoyed this series so well that I am actually reading it again and desperately waiting for 10 to come out on audio as I cannot read Because I'm a truck driver so I listen to audiobooks

getting better
