A great continuation of the alien romance series.

What made the experience of listening to Craving the most enjoyable?

Different cultures-alien and earthling. He is royalty and she is just a poor regular girl trying to pay the bills. There is obvious chemistry between the two of them causing some heat. This all adds up to fast-paced action as the two try to figure out their relationship.

What other book might you compare Craving to and why?

Since this book is part of the series of alien romances, right away, you compare the each other. This author has done a great job of making each book in the series different with well described various alien cultures and storylines. They are all very good.

Which scene was your favorite?

My favourite is near the end of the book when each of the characters finally figure out what they want from relationship.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

My reaction was to want to quickly finish the book so I would find out what would happen. Did one to wait another minute!

not your typical alien romance

let me start by saying the plot is great. there's danger, espionage, the works. character development is also great. they learn a lot about each other and their governments. the sparks are there and with some miscommunication things are kept hopping. I started listening at work, kept going in the car ride home and had to force myself to turn it off so my kids wouldn't hear it lol. let's just say I really really liked this book :)

My favorite to date!

What made the experience of listening to Craving the most enjoyable?

The performance was stellar and lent to such an enjoyable experience it was as if I were experiencing the story first hand. The story line; war, intrigue and volatile passion were pressed together into a seamless experience. The characters were likable and both point of views were presented so well as to give cause to support both and cheer for resolution.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Craving?

The first encounter, in the taxi... Oh Boy! and was the first of a long list of many that made this book so devastatingly good.

Which character – as performed by Cassandra Myles – was your favorite?

I could never choose between the heroin, Jenn, or the hero, Kai, both along with supporting characters gave the novel a great fullness.

Military, Aliens, Romance

Combine Military combat with SciFi backgrounds and add in some fumbling romance plus sexy encounters, and you get Jennifer and Kai's story. A little barbaric, Kai's race creates treaties through royal nuptials as a prize in an honorable marriage battle between races.
Their meetcute is quite funny and turns into a sexy moment, which causes Kai's plan to derail. From that point forward, the story is full of attacks, counter attacks, false alliances, double crossings, a few disheartening moments, and lots of on the edge of your seat chapter endings. Ne prepared for that "just one more chapter..." moment to come quite often.
Cassandra Myles is an excellent narrator for this book. She does a fantastic job of living the action and bringing out the emotion in the right moment.

TerraMates Love Story with a different twist

This TerraMates story was a little different from the others. I like it. Jenn needs money and she signs up for an alien husband. The thing is, she is only there for the money. She doesn't want to have anything to do with men.

She is assigned to flaunt herself in front of a male representative of another planet. When the time comes, she hides in a closet. Well in walks Kai the male hero. He is sent to Earth to marry a woman in order to form an alliance. Among all of the women thrown into his path, he just wants a break and hides in a closet which just happens to be the one Jenn is in. Kai Immediately recognizes Jenn to be his Sindare or Soul Mate - but much more.

There is a lot of political and romance drama adventure in this story. I love the fact that the Brides must battle the men they marry. My favorite part is how Jenn uses her Tai chi and other yoga practices to beat the resident antagonist in the marriage battle (she won the battle and was able to reject the groom).

This was a very good audio book. This audio book was provided by the author for an unbiased review.

Best One Yet

I got this ARC via audiobook boom. This is book 8 in the series but it too can be read as a standalone. It was just as different as the others. Jenn is the one chosen as Kai's mate and is the one who would help end the war between the Anquera and earth. The plot twists were incorporated so well that you had to keep listening in order to know what will happen next. The story is told from two points of view and really made the story. The character develpoment was very well done and the narrator was very good.

Crushing on Cassandra Myles’ voice!

This book was a departure for me since it was my first sci-fi romance, but I totally loved it! The awesomely vivid story completely pulled me in and the love story was great. But my favorite part was how completely badass Jenn was. She can definitely hold her own and does. There were also lighter elements that had me giggling like finding your soulmate in a closet. You’ll have to listen to find out what I mean. Such a different kind of love story, but completely worth the listen. I think I’m hooked on alien love and Lisa Lace’s aliens.

Narration by Cassandra Myles was excellent! Where has she been all my life? I loved her voice and her narration helped sweep me away into a different world. Her narration was vivid, emotional, entertaining and if she can make aliens sexy for me than I'll listen to whatever she's narrating. This was my first audiobook by both author and narrator and after this one I’m looking forward to more by both!

Pleasantly surprised

Received free audio in exchange for honest review. This story had a lot of action. Kai's planet and earth are enemies. An alliance is offered if earth will supply a wife for Kai, the stepson to the leader of his planet. Jennifer found out the man she married is a bigamist and stole all her money. Desperate she joins Terramates thinking she would never be chosen by Kai. Kai meets with many women but when he sees Jennifer he knows she is his soul mate. They are both thrown into the middle of a conspiracy and they must fight for their lives and Kai must convince Jennifer that he is her soul mate too.

love is a battlefield--literally!

this book for me was slow going in the beginning, but soon I was drawn in and I didn't want it to end. great story and characters. I only wish there had been more chances to see Kye and Jen's relationship grow.

Monotone

I’ve enjoyed this series except for the reading. In this book I think Ms. Myles does a good job with the female voices yet feel the male voices are too monotone.
