Publisher's summary

Adam, Ethan, and Ryan aren't looking for women. They're looking for a woman. One woman they know will share their lives and their beds. They're losing hope they'll find her, that is until Adam discovers Holly lying in the snow just yards from their cabin. Adam knows she's the one the minute he holds her in his arms, and as soon as his brothers see her, they know it too. The only problem is convincing Holly of that fact - and protecting her from the danger of her past.

A VERY LUCKY LADY

What made the experience of listening to Colters' Woman the most enjoyable?

How three men can care so much about the same woman Holly and how when Ryan and Ethan first met Lacy, they didnt fall in love with her but when they first met Holly they knew that she was the one

What does Freddie Bates bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Mr Bates is a very good reader, he brings the expression as if you are actually looking at a movie

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Holly had to go out on her own to make the divorce of her ex husband happen but without the three men she loved!!!!

Love Maya Banks But 3 Brothers Sharing a Wife-Ewww

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

This was a bit 'out there' as far as plot (in my opinion)-the whole sharing aspect-it is fiction. However the plot of the back/other story was suspenseful and held my interest.

What did you like best about this story?

The action of Holly trying to escape her abusive husband and the protectiveness of the Colter men.

Which scene was your favorite?

Without giving away the ending-the search for Holly after her kidnapping.

Do you think Colters' Woman needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

No, the ends were all 'tied up' and no questions left unanswered.

3.75/5 - Only okay; there are better eroticas

Any additional comments?

At first I was super excited about this book because good eroticas can be hard to find. The first half of the book was fine as far as content, but after a while I got bored with it. The story itself was only okay and had a couple of dumb moments that elicited eye rolls. The heroine was flat, unimaginative and boring; not to mention overly stereotypical with the virgin-but-natural-at-it approach. The sex scenes were mild and a little redundant after the first couple. I liked that the narrator was male though, and I wanted more development for Ryan. I felt like I had the other two brothers figured out pretty quickly and was not proven wrong.

There are no words on how this book made me feel

I read books all day! This book just brought home into the heart of my mind, I didn’t have a great home life in my childhood. So I made a way for me and my family to live. This author has made in my eyes the home of my dreams. Her words and the feelings she brings out is so telling on how a family should be.

OMG! OMG! This is a naughty one!

OMG! This story was a naughty one! Three sexy brothers all willing to share one woman. Let’s just say they weren’t playing bingo together in this remote wilderness cabin. Whoa… steam is still coming off my earphones.

First I have to say you must check reality at the door with this book. If I were in this situation I would have been running far away from these crazy cowboys…but thankfully this is fiction (not reality). They are a little overbearing and at times I found the premise of 3 brothers involved in a ménage a little creepy. I kept thinking the story would have been a little more “believable” if all the brothers were shifters. (sigh) All that aside, I still enjoyed the story.

If you’re looking for a Super-HOT erotic book then look no further. If you need a little more romance before the hot and heavy sex scenes begin then this might not be for you.

WONDERFUL....WONDERFUL...WONDERFUL

Any additional comments?

No one writes a romance novel like Maya Banks...just the right amount of romance, love, tense moments and steam. Love the characters she creates. LOVE THE FACT THAT A MAN DOES THE NARRATION. A woman just cannot do a man's voice...a man who is supposed to be masculine and passionate. When a woman does the voices...they sound like something from the Wizard of Oz. Thank you Maya...and please we need more of your books in audio....FAST!!!!!

LEFT ME BLUSHING...BUT ALSO WANTING!!

Where does Colters' Woman rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Colters' Woman is probably my least favorite audiobook so far. I did not like the male narrator and the story while outlandish to begin with was even a little unrealistic in itself. The innocent virgin is not going to simply take on three men her first time and then wake up thinking this is a perfectly normal day with her husbands. I didn't mind the storyline but the characters could have been a little more realistic.

Would you be willing to try another one of Freddie Bates’s performances?

Probably not. I found that I definitely prefer female narrators for romance novels and his female voices were very coy and unrealistic. I also found that he had trouble keeping his character voices straight too. That did get better as the book went on.

Any additional comments?

Colters' Woman is about three brothers who have decided that they will commit themselves to a single woman. Holly the damsel in the story just happens to find herself unconscious outside their front door and when confronted with that prospect she seems to find it perfectly natural and is completely accepting. Yes the story is this outrageous. While I did enjoy the more suspenseful parts I really thought the story was lacking. The sex scenes were definitely HOT but I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone new to the romance genre. I prefer Maya Banks other books but I do think I will continue to read (listen) the series. The storyline in the books to follow seem a little more on pace with more traditional romance.

Narrator

The narrator did an amazing job in his voice inflections for the females & making his voice sound different for the different males. 👍😁👍

Ok...WHAT? Who even thinks of this????

Full disclaimer, I'm only a few chapters in, but what in the actual hell is going on??? Like...why does this family do this thing where three brothers share a woman? Not just share, but actually marry? WHY IS THIS A THING?? Perhaps this will be explained...?

That being said, this book is exactly what I thought it would be. Entertaining, sexy, and straight up ridiculous. Definitely recommend if you're not planning on taking it too seriously.
