Publisher's summary

For fans of Fifty Shades of Grey and Bared to You comes the second novel in the erotic, fast-paced trilogy that started with Release Me. This sexy, emotionally charged romance continues the story of Damien Stark, the powerful multimillionaire who’s never had to take “no” for an answer, and Nikki Fairchild, the Southern belle who only says “yes” on her own terms.

For Damien, our obsession is a game. For me, it is fiercely, blindingly, real.

Damien Stark’s need is palpable - his need for pleasure, his need for control, his need for me. Beautiful and brilliant yet tortured at his core, he is in every way my match.

I have agreed to be his alone, and now I want him to be fully mine. I want us to possess each other beyond the sweetest edge of our ecstasy, into the deepest desires of our souls. To let the fire that burns between us consume us both.

But there are dark places within Damien that not even our wildest passion can touch. I yearn to know his secrets, yearn for him to surrender to me as I have surrendered to him. But our troubled pasts will either bind us close...or shatter us completely.

Claim Me is an erotic romance intended for mature audiences.

Damien & Nikki

*****Spoiler Alert*****

Audible review. Single POV (Nikki's). Book 2 in the continuing Stark series. While Sofia Willingham reads well, she sounded like she had a cold compared to the first book, she over-acted this entire book, there are still a few odd pronunciations, and it is incredibly slow at speed 1.0. I listened at speed 1.80. Trigger warnings: BDSM (a red ribbon is used as a leash; bondage with jute & a scarf; spanking; cat-o-nine tails); 2 suicides; a murder accusation; child abuse; and self-harm/cutting.

Damien Jeremiah Stark is a 30 year old billionaire; enjoys scifi books; former tennis star; his tennis coach started molesting him when he was 9 & his father was aware; he fought with his coach when he was 14 years old and his coach tripped over the ledge of the roof and fell to his death. Damien was his coach's beneficiary and now Damien is being accused of his murder 16 years after his death. Nicole Louise Fairchild (aka Nikki/Texas) is a 24 year old former pageant princess; former cutter; enjoys photography; has created several apps; starts a new job and then is fired when a media storm starts over the painting Damien paid her $1 million to pose for. A red ribbon was added in this portion of the story and wrapped around her as she posed for the painting. Damien reveals his coach's abuse, briefly mentions a relationship with a girl when he was younger, and Nikki finds out that Damien and Giselle were in a relationship before Giselle was married. Giselle and her husband are divorcing. Jamie dates her commercial costar and then sees him with another woman. Ollie and Nikki argue over Damien. A woman from Nikki's pageant days embarrasses Nikki at a fashion show held by Damien's lawyer's firm. Damien breaks up with Nikki, goes to Germany to face the accusation that he murdered his coach, Nikki does an interview regarding the details of the painting and then flies to be with Damien. JP

Passion and Surrender

Part two was just as awesome as the first book. I really am enjoying this series and have not stopped listening. Damien and Nikki rock and I love that she is starting to hold her own. I like that although she is submissive she still has spunk. My only complaint is that I have to wait until next month to get part 3. This is an absolute must read in my opinion but you need to like 50 Shades and Bared To You books because this is written in the same manor but with its own unique plot twists. I just really like stories that have hot steamy scenes and still have a plot. The characters sizzle on the page and leave you just wanting more. Worth the credit!

I just fell madly in love with Damien Stark!

This was an excellent follow up to book one. I had lukewarm feelings about the first book, but I was intrigued enough to want book 2...well, now I'm completely hooked! This second book serves up great sex (of course), and still has that suspense that book 1 had as the mystery that is Damien Stark unfolds. I enjoyed Nikki and Damien's relationship much more this time and I'm looking forward to listening to Complete Me.

The beauty queen, meets a man...he was a judge

What did you love best about Claim Me (The Stark Trilogy)?

The meeting of Mr Stark, a retired tennis tennis
Player, now an Entrapenuer. Remembered the beauty queen...he wanted her in a nude painting, and her. He pays a million dollars. She accepts as she want the money to start her own business. She has a deep secret.....something that would reveal a very painful past . Stark surprises all of us with his reaction...hard to put down. The mystery begins slowly as Stark has a scandalous past comes into scences. Gossip, and trashy newspapers add to the drama.

Would you be willing to try another book from J. Kenner? Why or why not?

I didn't like the fact that the author said the word F U so much.
