it was not even a fluff piece

Where do I begin.....the story was poorly researched and written that in the end all I hoped was that it would end and perhaps provide a few good nuggets....and it did end.
As far as the romantic part it never let me fully connect with any of the characters.....for me a good romance novel let's me in and invites me to identify with both the main characters.
The story line was ok but the story so poorly developed that it never mattered. I think that maybe with stronger developed characters you would have been able to pull it off.
....and the dogs, I ask myself why you never researched how K9s work for the police and FBI.....and last the FBI.....if any Law enforcement officer worked and reasoned like the characters then they need to get off the force and back to school and reality real fast.
The author probably have a passion for writing.... just wish she would invest more in research and character development

Narrator was hard to listen to.

I had a hard time listening to this story. I kept thinking it would get better but no. The narrator was one of the worst.
I thought the story not nearly as good as others I have listened to by this author.
Quite disappointed in this book.

The narration

If you enjoyed your elementary school teacher reading a book out-loud to the class. Then this book is for you.

So realistic

The story was so realistic when Riley interfered and tried to fight with his sister's murderer when a gun was already pointed at him. I was yelling in my head no dumb man full of testosterone, you almost lost him again. ahhhh

Disappointing story.

The story was a bit difficult to follow, and not very well written. The dialogue was very simplistic. The narrator didn’t do a very good job with voices, or putting enough emotion into the story. I do like search and rescue stories, but they would be at a location with multiple dogs, and fail to even track the suspect.

Loved the ending

Great series so far with 2 more to go... but the cleaver, touching ending of this one was the best of the first four... Thanks for the giggles, no, a deep laugh & a few tears! It's a keeper!

Biblical scripture and romance

I liked the adventure in the book and that the author referenced God's blessings. The happily Ever After part, it's a bit unrealistic but a nice ending to the storyline.

Family

Bounty hunter Riley Martelli's hunt for his sister's killer and the man who left his nephew paralysed is sidetracked when he mistakes a missing FBI agent for the murderer.

After being fired on in a Colorado national park he joins forces with the FBI tactical K9 unit.

Paired with Harper Prentiss and her faithful German shepherd he finds himself hunting both men and in the line of fire. As well as fighting an overwhelming attraction to the beautiful agent.

I loved listening to this clean romantic suspense with an intriguing plot, engaging characters, a family in crisis and lovable dogs.

Nope

If you're going to write about police, FBI, working K9s, etc., please do your research. Your dogs, their commands, their training, and their behavior have too many errors for me to be able to concentrate on the story line. I've read many of your books now, but couldn't get through this one.
