Enjoyed this audio. Easy story to follow and characters good. Not over the top with sex but enough and in good taste. Narrator done a great job.

Nora's Sets Stage for J.D. Robb

If you could sum up A World Apart in three words, what would they be?

Fun, Sweet, and Tender. If you are a classic fan of author, then this is a must. Beware it is short, but great. Great for the 50% sale

What other book might you compare A World Apart to and why?

Ms Roberts can pull together a quick story as she can be the master of great descriptive words. You can see how she gathers material for the great J.D.Robb series. This is just one of a few books that must have given her the idea.

What does Angela Dawe bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I buy as many of Ms Dawe's reads as possible, and when paired with Nora, well that's an auto buy.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I loved all the moments when 21st century things were in play i.e.: baseball and pie called Pizza.

Any additional comments?

If you love long stories, this is not one of them. I sometimes am in the mood for a great short story.

ANOTHER WORLD/PARALLEL

I have listened to Nora Roberts before, but this one surprised me, with another world and demons and then gong to earth. I liked it, but it did surprise me.

Nora Roberts - A World Apart

Where does A World Apart rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Out of a 10 overall I would say that I would give it a 7. It is not near long enough - I could have read more to keep the story going.

What other book might you compare A World Apart to and why?

It is very different from the other books Nora Roberts write. But is very good.

A Brilliant Bodice Ripper!!

Wonderful escapism.........just what I expected from Nora Roberts. A splendid story of a feisty independent woman warrior from another world; thrust into present day New York and the arms of a rather tasty PI. Of course the inevitable happens and they rid both their worlds of nasties while falling madly in love. Very convincing with a good twist in the understanding and misunderstandings of their worlds.
Would recommend this to anyone who wants to be entertained.
