this book is great. sometimes when the reader was reading it I could actually see it in mymind eye. I love when that happens

Loved it

Nora Roberts never disappoints in her books. I love the worlds she creates, great lazy evening reading before falling asleep.

This narrator isn’t the right one for this. His main character just doesnt hit the right tone, he seems dumber and more snide that he should. And the female voice was awful, awful. She sounds like a creepy old lady in his rendition.

The story is fine, but the audio is miserable.

This earlier book by Nora is not very good

I love Nora Roberts books in her ability to paint a picture with words but you can tell immediately that this was one of her earlier less sophisticated works. The dialogue is and the characters are one dimensional. Witches and the supernatural are fine, but you have to be able to suspend this belief and you couldn’t really do that with this. But she definitely grew from this to become an excellent writer.
