Publisher's summary

In this classic romance from #1 New York Times bestselling author Nora Roberts, one couple discovers their own way to a happy ending - and a beautiful beginning....

She'd inherited $150 million, but all Pandora McVie wants is her uncle back and her infuriating co-beneficiary, Michael Donohue, gone. But that isn't part of the plan - one that isolates them both in a Catskills mansion for six months. Pandora knows it won't be easy living with Michael, but the hardest thing of all might be not falling in love with the man!

Not Bad to Pass the Time

Would you listen to A Will and a Way again? Why?

I might, depending on my need to fill time before my next credit comes through.

Any additional comments?

This story wasn't bad. But I had a HUGE problem with the way Michial and Pandora kept calling each other cousin, even after a romance budded between them. That's just weird for me. Also, the narration could have been better. Michial didn't sound right. He sounded as though he was mentally impaired.

Not up to Nora's reputation.

Not up to Nora's standard. The story went on and on and on..... The voice of the male was hard to hear and fake.

voice

only problem was Michael's voice. fingernails/chalkboard. I don't think I could ever have taken him seriously.

Just what you'd expect

What did you like best about A Will and a Way? What did you like least?

The story is exactly what you expect from a short Nora Roberts novel, but that is why it is so good. The setting, characters and plot are something that you might imagine watching in an episode of Logan's Run.

What did you like best about this story?

The setting, beautiful mental images of a gorgeous, whimsical Catskills mansion.

What didn’t you like about Christina Traister’s performance?

Michael's voice as portrayed by the narrator was terrible. it was low, monotone and made him sound dopey and took away from any passion or emotion that was written into his lines. It made me want to pick up a paperback copy so i could finish the story with out the narrator!

Could you see A Will and a Way being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

I think sometimes stories are better appreciated in books than visually in movies or TV.

Good story but...that voice!

The story was good. However, the reader's portrayal of Michael's voice is terrible. So fake! Like a throaty whisper the whole way. So irritating I kept hoping Michael wouldn't have any more lines in the story.

A good one

I couldn't put it down. It fascinated me. Very entertaining. How does Nora Roberts come up with so many plots?

Better with two narratives

I've read nearly every book Nora Roberts has written and my opinion telling would have been better with male and female reading
