A Bride for William

This is (so far) my favorite book in the Sun River Brides series. The only way to describe this book - down right fun! It starts out dramatic and ends with a laugh. The author packs a lot of story in her short books. And I thank you for that!!!

Bride for William

A sweet clean historical romance with a twist some may find controversial. I enjoyed listening to this book.

The narration was well done. The characters were well portrayed. Alan Taylor voices these characters with style.

Keep them coming!

Karla Gracey continues to bring us sweet romances with this series. She never disappoints with her novellas, and I especially loved this one. It had a little controversy with the topic of why Madelaine decided to become a mail-order bride. Her well developed characters bring to light topics that the couples overcome with communication. There is instant chemistry with Maddie and William and they are well suited together, both wanting to help their community and less fortunate. I loved the scene with William and the boy with the measles. Even in today's society, we will see the same kind of results with other doctors instead of the matter-of-fact, this is what you do remedy. This couple was one of my favorites of this series and I highly recommend it.

Alan Taylor continues his narration..perfect for the series. I love his baritone voice, giving the romance the flair of the old west.
