Great and Romantic

These books weren’t the best I have heard although they were enjoyable! Good clean stories with happy endings!

This was such a breath of fresh air. The stories were easy to listen to and entertaining.

Nice stories…but why this narrator??

I love this genre and these books are good, clean, very enjoyable, and pretty typical of the genre. My main problem is this narrator. I’ve heard her read at least 30 books, probably way more, and am always amazed at how she chooses to pronounce words she doesn’t know. And these are never difficult words, in fact, just the opposite and pretty standard for westerns. I’ve left many reviews, hoping either the publisher will teach Gina Dobbs to use google or just hire someone else. Example: reticule - a little old fashioned handbag pronounced re-ti-kewl, but she keeps pronouncing it re-tick-you-lay. How can you narrate historical fiction and not be able to say the most basic words?? It’s so distracting and even disrespectful to the authors.
