If I was a junky, her novels would be my drug of choice. SO refreshingly smart and entertaining. Fell in love with the characters, plot and all that. It may have been a tad predictable, but I kinda loved that too- just enough predictability to have me completely 100% satisfied at book's end.

I just felt that the story dragged on and on, and I had a hard time relating to the characters.

Beautiful & Descriptive Tale of Friendship & Love

Amy Snow quickly drew me in and kept me interested in her story until the very end. I loved Tracy Ree's descriptive writing and the unhurried pace of this book. Melody Grove's narration is one of the best I’ve ever heard and drew me in as much as the story. At age 17, Amy had a challenging and unconventional task ahead of her as set out by Aurelia. Amy carried out her task to its end and this helped her confirm what was truly important in her life, and I think Amy was the better for it. I liked the ending of this novel. This is a novel I would listen to again.

Most Enjoyable

Girls as faithful friends from separate economic classes form a bond that lasts a lifetime although one of them has a short life. The other remains true and faithful to the friendship, keeping a dangerous secret to the end of carefully prepared quest.
It’s a very long story but kept me engaged throughout.

Good listen!

A little romance, a lot of mystery, and friendship that transcended classes. The epilogue was the most interesting part. I wanted to know the mother's thought process.
