Adorable Story of Love

Kylie Scott and Andie Arndt? YES PLEASE! One of my favorite authors narrated by a favorite. What a great combo. Andi never fails to put all the emotions into what she is reading and really makes you FEEL it. I really enjoyed the storyline of REPEAT. This is a book that follows Clementine Johns, who loses her "episodic" memories. Meaning that she can't really events, people or basically any of her personal history. Trying to make sense of and remake who she is, Clementine tracks down her ex boyfriend, Ed Larson.

This story was a sweet romance of rekindled love. Ed was devastated by their breakup and doesn't want to revisit those memories. But when Clementine's life looks like it's in danger, he can't help but protect her. The evolution of their story and watching her rediscover herself and their love, was a joy to watch. I had theories of who was after her, but I have to say that I was wrong.

If you're in the mood for a fast paced, sweet romance, with steam and a little bit of mystery, I would definitely recommend picking up this book. It is an Audible Original, but will be available in print on April 9th.

Wonderfully unique second chance love story!

Where do I even start? Perhaps with the fact that I was sucked into this unique story immediately. Intrigued by Clementine as she tried to reconcile the woman everyone remembered with the woman she became.

The chemistry between Clem and Ed was immediately apparent and I found my heart aching with a sort of yearning for them as they unpacked their past while tentatively trying to make a future together. It’s a beautiful story, steamy, playful at times, and wholly satisfying.

The narration is top notch. Andi Arndt is fantastic and easy to listen to as she brought the characters and story to life for me. Definitely recommend this audio experience!

Starts out well but goes off the rails

Starts promisingly but then becomes silly and devolves into some of the most offputting sex scenes I have ever read. So bad. Yuck. Then the story ends abruptly and moronically. Poor.

Kylie Scott nails it ...... highly recommend

This book is amazing, I loved it. I read it in one hit (sleep? Who needs sleep?), I just wanted to keep reading.

Usually I won’t read amnesia stories, I just find them ridiculous and an excuse for lazy writing, but I loved all aspect of the story. Only Kylie Scott could pull this off so well. I laughed out loud and enjoyed the direct and witty banter that resulted from the amnesia, I also cringed and felt sadness - overall the story took me on a very enjoyable emotional ride.

It has super sexy characters, that are well developed and interesting. The hero and heroine are both strong, smart and respectful of each other. The sex is perfect, just enough that it enhances the story, and written so I was absorbed and entertained.

entertaining, performed well

fun love story, steamy, sweet. a little predictable. also, to some degree, moral of the story sometimes feels like "he was awesome, she wasn't, until she had a conveniently better personality". I still loved it, went through it in a few days. I'm a die hard romantic, so if I notice that "change yourself to get a man" theme, then it's there. if that is not your cup of tea, consider another book.

Good but could have been better

It was good but could have been so much better with Ed’s POV! I would also have liked another epilogue going further into the future for them.

Great story

This is a great story to listen too and read! Andi Arndt was amazing and brought these characters to life. She bought the lost but soon to be found Clementine to life and it was an instant pull to the book!

Clementine doesn't really know who she is. She has been "reborn" into this world that is strange and people that may or may not be stranger to her. She had a life that consisted of family, friends, boyfriends and just life. In the blink of an eye all of those things changed and she was shoved back in the world to make it.

Ed is Clementine's ex and let's just say he really had to grow on me. I understand when you see an ex who you wanted to be with forever suddenly shows up in your shop confused and doesn't know who she is...you'll scratch your head. Ed tried the best he could to get her on the right track but his feelings were strong and things just couldn't end with her. She held his heart as hostage and had no idea. The quirky things she once did no longer existed. Clementine was a brand new person and ready to live a brand new life...or is she?

The interaction between Clementine and Ed was at best, decent at times and infuriating at others. I wanted both of them to have an HEA but more so Clementine. She fought hard to become who she ended up and I loved her!

SECOND CHANCE ROMANCE

Second chance romance, Hot tattoo artist, A Great plot with twists and turns, an unpredictable plot, it ticks all my box's and I loved it!!

Such a breath of fresh air and a unique story-line.

I have read books where the character suffers from amnesia, that isn't new or unique in that way but there was just something that had me longing to see how this all played out, it wasn't just a case of someone trying to regain their memories.
Kylie Scott leaves no room for boredom, the plot is spaced out brilliantly with angst, drama, hotness and I was captivated with the story from the very the moment Clem who is still recovering from her attack which left her with no memories, walks into the tattoo parlor asking Ed if he was the one who gave her a tattoo and she was asked to leave in anger and couldn't understand why.

You are taken on Clem's journey of trying to piece back together her life and trying to figure out who she was before the accident and she discovers along the way that she likes creating a new Clementine. her first kiss, first sexual experience, Clem's story is Bittersweet.

A beautiful story of second chances with twists and turns woven into the plot. I loved it and was sad when I reached the hea.

Narrated brilliantly, I felt like I was there with the characters and although the narrator is female she didn't half make Ed come across as one swoon-worthy and sexy alpha who made me drool.

I want more like this, I loved it and would recommend it.

Roller coaster romance mixed with a bit of police mystery storyline.

Loved this 😍 Couldn’t put it down.

This is my second book by Kylie Scott and I think I found another great Aussie author.
This is a second chance, fated and force proximity romance. She has amnesia after a brutal attack, and despite not remembering him she feels an undeniable connection and longing for him. Things are very stressful and filled with angst and emotion. But they manage to work through it and the slow burn results in great spice.
I read this book after the second one, by accident. Which meant I already knew (somewhat ) how things were going to turn out, still the writing is so good I still felt invested in these characters and couldn’t stop listening to it. Even slowed down the narration (to 1,5x - normally listen at 2x) so I could really savour it.

Quirky and funny. Sweet and endearing. I didn’t want the book to end. Who wouldn’t love the lack of filter from Clem and Ed’s broody charm!

Blurb doesn’t do this book justice!

This book over delivered. I like this narrator so chose based on her despite being underwhelmed by the blurb. So glad I did, it’s a well thought out story line and brilliantly told by the narrator. Definitely worth the listen!

I binged it in one day

I loved this story from the start. Simple but with the right amount of suspense , you don't know who is genuine and who isn't.
Unusual trope different to most romance i have read. Had all the feels. Andi Arndt's is amazing as always. Her narration made the story even better .

I can think of only a couple of talented narrators who can successfully narrate all characters as convincingly and brilliantly as Andi Arndt has in this story.
