Recipe on how to read the Holy Bible

As you read this book, you are going to have a lot of things and ideas that may challenge your belief system. Don’t worry about it! Read the book as a whole and then use it as reference guide to the parts addressed.

It is a recipe to avoid misinterpretation of the Holy Bible. As often, you will hear things in church that doesn’t sound right. Now in a group, I cringe inside when it is used absolutely wrong! It will open your eyes!!! Keep your eyes on Jesus and let everything else go!

Insightful

The book was referencing to several parts that only apply to a hard copy version. Looks like we missed those out in the audible version.

Fix

They need to fix the table of contents. On audible chapter 1 is actually the introduction and chapter two is actually chapter one. Super confusing.

Textbook / take notes

I would treat this as a textbook. Be ready to sit down and take notes.

foundational tools for understanding the Bible

Building on what the text would have meant when written, these are tools to read the Bible then understand meaning in our own time.
I will be re-listening multiple times. I have even ordered a print copy to use with the audible.

Would prefer hard copy

Excellent book. Would prefer hard copy due to amount of scripture references (numbers) read aloud.
