Publisher's Summary

Do you love yourself? Most people have never even asked themselves that question, let alone know how to answer it. This is because we live under a modern plague, where masses struggle to love themselves as God loves them. Very few understand how to love themselves in a healthy way and have no tools to break free from the resistance that blocks them. Jesus said that we are to love our neighbor as ourselves. Yet that phrase seems to be the most ignored command of the Bible. The fruit of our relationships hinges on our ability to love ourselves with the love that God has for us. So many struggle in a daily battle that keeps them from the freedom that love has.

In this book, Mark will utilize his personal experience and over 20 years working with people to unlock the missing link to powerful relationships. In this book, you will be equipped to move into the power of self-love by:

  • Learning what healthy self-love is and what it is not
  • Identifying the resistance that blocks people from loving themselves
  • Observing how a lack of self-love affects every area of our lives
  • Unlocking practical ways to gain freedom and to love yourself as God does
  • Receiving important tools that you can practice immediately
  • Putting healthy self-love into action to give and receive love powerfully

Great book

What made the experience of listening to God Loves Me and I Love Myself! the most enjoyable?

Author does a great job tackling the subject of self-love from a biblical perspective, and clarifies the pitfalls to avoid (i.e. narcissism, self-pity, or victim mindset.) This is a highly empowering book! It is filled with practical application points and questions for personal review with the Lord. I also appreciated how the author peppered the book with many of his own experiences/struggles in this arena. It made the content very relatable. Thank you Mark DeJesus for a book that has brought transformation to my life, in a biblical fruit-bearing way... and is helping me become more conformed to the character of Christ in the way I love myself and others.! Blessings to you! Ephesians 3:14-21!

Heartfelt and passionate

I love and need this message. DeJesus does for me what no other teaching ever has: he confronts the necessity of loving yourself and exposes the mindsets that fight against it. In particular, his list of negative "self" mindsets exposes a sinister work of the enemy that dates back to the start of my life. It really pissed me off to realize my own thinking was being used to convince me of a lack of worth! But it is the wake up call I needed to make changes.

Though there are spots where the performance is lacking, there's no doubt about the personal passion DeJesus has to share his story of victory with the world. It's evident what you're hearing was earned and received through struggle and coworkmanship with God. He shares the steps he took to come to freedom as well as the pitfalls that keep many stuck in bondage. I am so grateful to God for this book!
