LOVED IT!

This book has been so great. I love that Audible has a feature where you can save clips from the book to go back and listen to anytime for that one nugget of wisdom that really caught your attention the first time you heard it.

When Mark talked about the voice of fear, and how God just wants us to rest in Him, that was powerful for me. I actually woke up from sleeping listening to that same part TWICE (in Chapter 13), and the second time, it was on a day that I really needed to make a tough decision that involved either pressure or rest, and thanks to this book, I chose rest.

Fear of man in the second to last chapter also really helped me realize a lot of my sources of fear, since love in relationships is so needed and heals so many of our wounds when it is present, but hearing this chapter reminded me that the love of Father God really needs to be my foundation for opening myself up to experiencing that love towards and from other people.

Thank you so much, Mark, for your work and ministry! God bless you!

An Excellent Resource

I have been following the teachings of Mark De Jesus for quite some time. I own a few of his books. Among my favorites are “Exposing the Rejection Mindset” and “God Loves Me, And I Love Myself”. “I Will Not Fear” has become my new favorite, because it exposes fear for what it’s is... a lie. Mark outlines how we are to “cast our cares upon” the only One who is not only able but “willing” to help us overcome fear, God. This book has served as a reminder of Who my help is in times of fear, and when dealing with my own phobias. And, I truly believe it will help many in this generation to overcome and cast out fear for good. I highly recommend it.

practical

I'm a sufferer of Scrupulosity OCD, so spiritually themed books often send me into a bit of a tailspin. This book didn't do that at all. A lot of pastors have no idea what it is like to suffer through anxiety so intense that you can't even function. Some pastors equate anxiety to a lack of faith or some hidden sin. Mark does approach overcoming fear and anxiety from a spiritual angle, but he does it in a very practical manner. I like that he sees healing as a process and explains the way to freedom through trust in God. It's clear to me that he has experienced the dread that I unfortrunately know so well so I'd recommend this to anyone who struggles with fear.
